I’m so tired. Why would they not just make Zendaya Mary Jane? I’m so sick of the Michelle frankencharacter stuff.

If they never meant for Michelle to be Mary Jane then WHY give her Mary Jane’s nickname?? They had to know that would kill the possibility of bringing in real MJ.

Why would they give the nickname to an oc that doesn’t even act like MJ?

Mary Jane Watson is one of the most important characters in Peter Parker’s life and I’m tired of seeing movies do her dirty.

2018 marked the return of petermj. More specifically, the return of MJ into Peter’s life. 

In the comics, MJ wasn’t the originally intended love interest for Peter, but they worked so well, that they just couldn’t not end up together. 

History has repeated itself, because they found their way back to each other once more, even after Quesada stole their marriage, and after Slott’s efforts to destroy both MJ’s and Peter’s character, because “Married superheroes aren’t interesting” 

After years of the Spider-man comics being written by someone who doesn’t even like Peter Parker, I think with Nick Spencer’s run, the core of what Spider-man is about is returning.

 (Not to defend Spencer as a person. I don’t like him. He’s the idiot that thought hydra!cap was a good idea. But I can’t deny that he understands Spider-man more than the writers we’ve had for the past 10 years.)

Were going into 2019 with three canon versions of Petermj after having nothing but ’Renew Your Vows’ for so long (Which are also great comics btw)

2018 was a good year for Spider-man! I’ve loved all the Petermj, and just Mary Jane Watson content in general that we’ve gotten this year, and I hope 2019 brings us more. <3
