Rook (my former PC) is a Caitiff courier, but they usually pass as a City Gangrel due to having the disciplines, but they trade Obfuscate for Auspex (watchdog coded). Their creation was an act of violence - they were a shovelhead who managed to regain enough of their senses to run as far as their legs could take them, deeper into the forest till they collapsed. A Gangrel found them and took the pup in. He taught them how to hunt, how to track, and how to hide, and they called him Grandfather. Eventually, they leave for Metro Manila to present themself in the Camarilla court and worked as a courier for a few years. They had a sister. They had guilt over, in their mind, abandoning her. But by the time of their Embrace she was old enough to live on her own, and had an aunt supporting her. The thought that she would be supported through college reassured them till one night, they glimpsed their sister speaking with some Giovanni in a hospital hall... They tracked her down only to discover she had been ghouled and was en route to the USA with her domitor. Stowing away on a ship bound for California, they hoped to find her and save her from whatever terrible fate lay ahead. Tangling with Kindred never ends well. Ouuuuugh they make me sick. They were on track to be an overseas worker nurse as a mortal. They used to illegally drag race. Their sister is the one person they love the most in the world. What do you do when you try to save your sibling from vicious monsters when it turns out she made the choice to stay with them herself? Another PC reminded them of her and they got attached enough to send him their parting message when they left town. They wear a black baseball cap often because they are Not Good with eye contact but when they take it off when they're more comfortable they have Sad Tired Brown Eyes. They drive a beat-up station wagon that somehow has an immaculate engine. The station wagon might be supernatural. They hate dealing with the Fae because their hackles stand on end and their gut tells them something is Very Wrong. They miss their childhood home. They're designed to be good at running away. Guilt and shame hang over their shoulder like a big black dog.

hey guys

I'm Gela, also known as acoraxia, formerly known as wolfloupen, and I've been struggling with domestic abuse for nearly all my life. It's gotten to the point where I find my dad sleeping in my bed when I'm in bed, my mom gaslighting me into giving her money and never getting it paid back and playing housewife for my dad whenever my mom becomes emotionally unavailable.

My mother has admitted to being abusive for the sake of it and my dad doesn't do anything to defend me from her, sometimes even joining her or making the situation worse. They weren't there to protect me when I was sexually assaulted and even tried to make me empathize with them when my abuser died. My extended family is always on their side and I've been called spoiled and selfish all my life for wanting some privacy and respect out of them.

My parents have been preventing me from maintaining a job. I get some money left over from financial aid but I've been putting that aside to help me save up to move.
