ooc: it's 5:30am, I should probably head to bed ;;; Xion, you can leave a reply in my ask box if you like c: night everyone!
Sure, I'll take you on!: lost-puppet: heartofthieves: “Moogletown, eh…” Zidane repeated. He...
“Quests? Really? That sounds great!” That really did sound like a good idea to the young thief, he was beginning to wonder how long it took him before he got bored around here. “You can come with me, sure. Party of one’s never a fun party, is it?” he joked. “So how do we go about getting a quest? You done one before?”
"I've never really done it before since I've been slightly busy but there's a spot called the Moogle Town Central and it carries a lot of requests! See if they have any requests open and contact the person who asked for assistance!" She clapped her hands and laughed slightly. "i like helping people so I might do one when I'm free. I can take you there if you'd like!"
Zidane nodded as he listened, this girl was beginning to sound like a slightly younger version of himself. "Sounds like a plan, Xion! Sounds like this is going to be fun, and if we're helping people, then even better! Feel free to lead the way.~"
She was tempted to tell her that yes, she didmind, and that he’d have better luck with someone elsewhere, but that would be a waste of her time. If he was going to leave, he would have left when she first snapped at him.
“The bench is public, you can do whatever you’d like.”
He reminded her of Nine, but she hoped he wasn’t as vapid. However, she made no effort to close her book; instead, she returned her attention to it. If her words wouldn’t persuade him to leave, perhaps her actions would.
Wow, this girl wouldn’t let up so easily. Zidane made a face at her as she turned back to her book, as if to say ‘Was that an invitation or what-’ though regardless, he took it as one and perched beside her on the bench, tail drooping a little at the tip.
He stayed there in awkward silence a little while, trying to peer over her shoulder in a way that wasn’t too obvious or creepy. She reminded him of Freya, their first meeting wasn’t too dissimilar, and they’re friends now, so stretching this out couldn’t hurt, right?
“So, what’re you reading?”
To her dismay, he’d chosen to join her. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and tried her best focus on her book and pretend he wasn’t there, but that soon proved to be pointless.
She shot him a dirty look and sighed before answering, “Loveless, a popular title around these parts.”
She supposed it wouldn’t hurt her to be nicer to him. He’d done nothing to harm her, really, he was curious and seemed kind. She softened her look and tone, “It’s pretty interesting.”
The dirty look he gave her almost physically hurt him, but he'd be persistent. 'Loveless' didn't sound like a particularly cheery book, in all honesty, but he was sure he'd seen the name around somewhere before. It hit him, it'd been made into play, he was sure of it. Alright, maybe this could be an interesting point of conversation.
"Oh Loveless! Right, yeah, I know that. Is the book any good? I've only acted in the play." He said the last bit very matter-of-factly, though it wasn't true in the slightest. He didn't think it could hurt, he'd blagged his way through worse before.
heartofthieves:
“Moogletown, eh…” Zidane repeated. He supposed he had seen an awful lot of moogles around, but that wasn’t exactly an uncommon sight in Gaia. It was, after all, home to Mognet Central. Moogletown wasn’t somewhere he’d come across before though. “You’re a sweetie, Xion, thanks, but I’m just trying to find my way around here. Guess that makes it more of an adventure though, right?” He flashed her a grin and a quick wink before chuckling.
Her face split into a smile. It's been a while since she met anyone this flirty. Other than Axel that is. "Then your adventures await! We have quests and everything in here." She smiled and giggled. "Can I come with you? I don't have anything to do until much much later so you can say I'm free." She smiled and followed along.

heartofthieves:
Zidane turned his attention to the friendly voice that greeted him back and walked towards her, meeting her halfway. “I am, how lovely of you to notice” he said with a smile, taking her hand and leaning down to kiss it. “I’m Zidane, what’s your name?”
Xion blushed at the sudden kiss on her hand. Thank goodness she wasn't wearing gloves. She wasn't paying much attention and only heard a few words when she realized the boy asked her a question.
"O-Oh, my name is Xion! And welcome to Moogletown. Can I help you with something?" She smiled sheepishly.

Zidane still wasn’t quite sure where he was, but whatever this place was, there sure were a lot of people around to greet him. It was a friendly place at the very least, he figured the least he could do was make an effort. He walked in, tail swishing behind him, his signature grin on his face, and gave a wave.
“Hey there!”
“Hello!” Xion waved back. “Are you new here?” She smiled lightly at the boy and made her way towards him.

“Hey there!”
Queen looked up from where she was seated and snapped at the stranger, ”Can’t you see I’m trying to read here? Would you mind being a bit quieter?”
Just her luck that the cafe she frequented closed early today. First her encounter with Machina earlier today, now this- she couldn’t seem to catch a break.
“Eh-?” Zidane looked down at the bespectacled girl and tilted his head. Why would you have your nose stuck in a book when there were so many people around? It’s not like this was a library. Still, she was cute-
“Oh gee, sorry miss,” he began in a much quieter tone, “Didn’t mean to interrupt you. But what’s a lovely girl like yourself doing sat all the way over here when the fun’s over there?” he asked, gesturing to the group of people with his tail.
… Was he daft? “I’m reading,“ she said, resisting an eyeroll, as she gestured to her book.
Wait, lovely? First that… strange, half-naked lady complimented her cheekbones, now this. She wasn’t very used to compliments on her looks- normally they were directed to people like Cinque, or Deuce. Queen was simple, and that was the way she liked it.
She slightly arched an eyebrow at him, eyes slightly narrowed, not quite sure what to make of him. “I could ask you the same thing.”
Zidane shifted his weight onto one leg and locked his hands at the back of his head. She clearly didn't want him around, but he'd made a start now! He wasn't known for walking away from the ladies, it was usually the other way around. "I came in and you caught my eye, thought there'd be no shame in saying hi. I'm new here." He cocked his head to one side and gave her a sweet smile. "Well if you won't join me over there, mind if I sit with you here?"

"Hey there!"
[ooc: hi everyone! it's great to be here, but i'm afraid i have to leave already - it's 5am here and i have to get some sleep - sorry tonight's roleplays have been brief, but starting tomorrow i'll be around for a lot longer!]
“It’s pretty cool, isn’t it? I can do some pretty neat tricks with it too, like hang upside down!” he claimed with a wide grin, swishing his tail. “Wings are pretty amazing though! I suppose they don’t need an airship to get around, huh?”
“I kinda wish I had a tail…” she trailed off as she tried to turn around and look at her own behind. “Imagine the stuff I can do!”
“Or a board.” she nodded, “But wearing shirts must be a pain.”
"Yeah they don't really make clothes for people with tails and wings... My pants can be a real pain to sort out!" he chuckled before losing his balance a bit and falling backward. Using his tail to stop him from falling he flashed Filo a look.
"A board?" he tilted his head. "What's that?"
"Zidane, hm?" She gave a little bow herself before standing a bit straighter. "A pleasure." Zidane didn't seem to be from Spira, but a quick glance at her surroundings told her she wasn't in Spira at all. At least it wasn't the Farplane. "Do you know where we are, exactly?"
Zidane naturally resumed the position he was initially in and also glanced around before shaking his head. "Can't say I do, but hey, doesn't that make this more exciting? It's like an adventure, right?" he stated, grinning brightly at her.
“Ah-” Zidane peered down at the child with a grin on his face before kneeling down to ruffle her head. “Hey there kiddo, I’m Zidane, what’s your name?”
Once again, she fixed her hair and goggles, “It’s Filo.” she nodded. Her eyes soon widened as she noticed the tail on the other. “A tail? Now that’s something new!” she exclaimed brightly. “That’s so cool! I know an a person with bright red wings! Like an angel.”

“Oh hello!” the child grinned, she rocked on her heels, her hands behind her back, “Nice to meet new peeps!”
"Ah-" Zidane peered down at the child with a grin on his face before kneeling down to ruffle her head. "Hey there kiddo, I'm Zidane, what's your name?"
"Well," she said to the boy before her, "it seems we've arrived here at the same time. Not that I know where 'here' is. Anyway, I don't think we've met before. I'm Leblanc. And you are?"
Standing with his weight shifted on one leg and hands locked behind his head, Zidane cocked his head to one side and raised an eyebrow up at the woman that approached him. "The name's Zidane, what a pleasure it is to meet you, Leblanc.~" he replied to her before straightening himself out then bowing courteously.
