another self-inserty freelancer headcanon because freelancer is me and i am them

i'm a big fan of physical touch love language freelancer. i think they're always passively touching their friends (leaning on them, holding hands, kicking under the table, etc) when they hang out. gavin isn't safe from that, of course! they're practically attached to him at the hip when they're together (linking arms, laying on top of him, sitting in his lap)

freelancer just adores the people around them and likes to show it as often as possible

hi! gavin thought of the day since that's what my blog is apparently: gavin absolutely cried after he left freelancer's house the day he first tasted their love for him (pre-confession). he had gotten a taste when they talked about their friends, but this was something else entirely. a different flavor for a different kind of love. he was just so astonished that someone truly felt that way towards him, especially someone who lives their life as fully as the freelancer does. a part of him had been convinced that one day they would fall for someone else. someone more deserving of it. but they didn't. they loved him. and at that point he knew he never wanted to stop tasting their love

hello, redacted fandom! i've started collecting perfume/perfume samples again and i am going to make it everyone's problem (assign scents to listeners/characters when one stands out to me for someone)

today i come bearing the most sunshine-coded fragrance in the world: nectar from arcana wildcraft!

here's the scent description from their website:

the deepest longing for sunshine, long warm days, and peace in our time. ripe, plump blackberries and creme de cassis with sheer, summery georgette, cold swirls of vanilla ice cream, a tuft of tender lambswool, and a field of softly blooming sunflowers on a nearby hillside.

this perfume smells like what you (or at least i) would imagine an ideal hillside sunny day in summer to smell like. perfect for our lovely sunshine themself! it's also what i would picture the backyard of elliott and sunshine's dream house to smell like, daybed and all, and i think sunshine would wear it for that exact reason.

now i'm not saying that project meridian james was n'dellex.....but i'm not NOT saying that project meridian james was n'dellex

anyone in the redacted world discord has probably seen me talk about this exact thing, BUT. there's no way n'dellex showing himself to dreamer was fooliverse-specific. after wolf anton was confirmed to be real, i think anything in fooliverse is a possibility (don't even get me started on my worries for milo).

while n'dellex may not have actually been project meridian james, i do think he influenced dreamer's dream in one way or another, especially with the recent thaumaturgic fontanelle conversations being had. dreamer clearly thought they were just something their mind made up, so they certainly weren't aware of the fontanelles before getting rid of their latency.

do i know what n'dellex would want with dreamer? no! not at all! but i'm almost certain he's lurking around somewhere.........
