gale hansen facts and tidbits of information i know! 𖦹

• gale originally auditioned for the role of pitts in dps, but when peter weir and his wife were going through the pitts audition tapes she stopped when it got to gale and said "him. he's your charlie."
• gale grew up in an abusive home :(
• gale has not publicized his actual birthday, but he has said that his star sign is a cancer!🦀 (like me :D)
• you can watch many of his movies on youtube from people who have uploaded them, the quality isnt good but hey a films a film
• ^ adding onto this theres a series called beyond belief: fact or fiction that you should be able to find for free on youtube, but gale plays a security guard in season 2 episode 7. this was also his final appearance in anything before he took a break from acting.
• gale has said hes a swiftie before!
• his family calls him "G" !
• theres something on spotify called "it only leaves one alive: the cinematic audio experience" its essentially a short audio book, and gale voices a minor character around the 9 minute mark! ^^
• he teaches acting classes using the meisner technique
• gale got his first ever acting role in the 1983 comedy mockumentary film titled "zelig". he got the part because he had been waiting tables at a deli, and two ladies had come in who asked him what he had been doing in town, to which he replied 'studying to be an actor'. long story short, the ladies were casting directors and liked gale's headshots and whatnot so they gave him a role! (a very minor role though, he plays a character called "freshman #1) -_-
• he recently came back to the film industry as an actor in the 2024 film "good bad things", he's also been in a few indie short films here and there iirc!
