: This is a short fluffy fanfic, Selly kind of rushed this one because they were falling asleep, I’m sorry …. And this doesn’t really emphasizes the coffee in coffee date, more rather it emphasizes the date in coffee date …!
It was a bright and sunny afternoon that you and Cielomort agreed to go to the cafe with him, a simple meet up where the two of you could spend some time together chatting away amidst the busy schedule of his which he managed to spare some time to meet you.
The bell on the door of the cafe rung as you opened the door, gently closing the door to make sure it didn’t slam and to avoid embarrassing yourself, you walked around to try and find where Cielomort was because he was already waiting for you. What a workaholic he is, already finishing all his piles of work…
Spotting where Cielomort was, you took your seat which was on the opposing side of his seat, then the edges of Cielomort’s lips curled up just slightly into a sweet and charismatic smile seeing you had finally arrive.
The both of you ended up ordering coffee (though served in different forms, like you ordered a latte and he ordered a cappuccino for example, iygwim..), you had started chatting away with him in conversation while waiting for the order to finally come. Afterwards, the orders had finally arrived to your table.
Grabbing your cup of coffee, you softly huffed out a breath over the coffee to blow it, making sure you didn’t burn your tongue as the coffee was still fresh and steaming hot. Conversing with him, you ended up wondering how Cielomort’s cup of coffee tasted. Sure, you do like coffee, but you usually drink the same type of coffee everyday, you don’t really try other types (even if you do, shhh it’s for the plot..).
Though, you staring at his drink didn’t land on blind eyes (I hope I used the sentence correctly…). After noticing your prolonged gaze, it didn’t take long for him to offer his drink for you to taste, whether it was a sip or more—he didn’t mind, he wouldn’t mind.
Of course, it felt only fair if you gave him a sip of your cup of coffee too in exchange (even if he is a coffee enthusiast and probably tried it before, he’d do it if you want him to take a sip too). And the two of you ended up exchanging cups of coffee for one sip or two, before exchanging back.
New messages from Selly ; Cielomort gives Selly cuteness aggression. Selly almost cried looking at a picture of him hurt, they don’t know why ….
