HUGE TW!! i’m talking a lot about drug use, s/h, cigs/vapes, drinking underage, sex, suicidal thoughts, eating disorders, and mental health, especially big because they’re teenagers. i am not condoning ANY of this, especially as a teen. nothing is detailed in extremes, everything is under the cut.
a bit of pre-kerberos info important :
pidge and keith met a good 1-2 years before the kerberos mission, around when matt, shiro, and sam were confirmed as the crew.
they met at some holt family potluck, they sat under shade and played games or talked about a movie they both liked
keith got rlly close with colleen also, called her auntie and everything (💔)
adam and shiro never like, officially ‘broke up’. when shiro disappeared, adam still had custody of keith
assuming the garrison starts in august and ends in may, keith was kicked out about a month before the year ended, around the time pidge would’ve been going into the garrison (again, assuming it starts around 14 and ends at 17/18)
keith dropped out entirely, pidge was already accepted but reapplied as pidge gunderson rather than katie holt.
