        clare could get a little distracted when it came to books. reading took up most of her time, even during class. she’s been caught more than a handful of time, attempting to finish a chapter before the bell rings. so, she’s not particularly surprised when someone has to deliberately get her attention to pry her eyes from a page. 

        there’s a tap to her shoulder, and she glances up - turns her head to look at him.
