Things I Wish I Knew as a Baby Witch

Do I need to wear black? There is a common misconception that you need to "look the part." Honestly in my decades of being a witch I have come across all types of witch style. Some witches I've met look like they are all about the Martha Stewart living. On the other side of that I have met some witches who look like they are straight out of The Craft film. Just because you have stepped into your magickal realm and claimed that you are a witch... doesn't mean that you have to change your appearance.

Just be you: If you are thinking that you have to rush to change your wardrobe or hair color to be more witchy... that's completely your choice. I will admit that my witch style has evolved over the years as I became more comfortable with who I am as a witch. There are wardrobe choices that make me feel more witchy. I'm a Gemini and honestly can't decide on what to wear anyway lol. Whatever you decided... be sure it fills your soul with happiness from being who you are. 💜

Things I Wish I Knew as a Baby Witch

What type of a witch am I? This can be so stressful on the beginning of your journey. Like me... you may be looking up different types of witchcraft and which titles. The thing is you don't know yet what your journey is going to hold. Looking back I connected with different types of witchcraft. The witchcraft that you connect with may determine what title you'd like to give yourself. The good news is you don't have to decide right now because it's a journey.

Keep An Open Mind: To limit yourself in saying that you are a particular type of a witch and only do one type of witchcraft... may stifle your growth in your craft. You don't know what you connect with yet... I didn't. You have already claimed that you are a witch... it's a title. What type of witchcraft you go towards is your personal journey. Being a witch is enough. ✨

Rainwater holds pure earth energy and when you put your energy into it... you can use it for whatever your heart desires. Water plants with intent... use it in spells... make moon water.

How do you make moon water? 🌙 The simplicity of this is so great! Whatever moon you desire for your intent... full moon or new moon. Place you jar of rainwater outside to charge it with moon energy. Your rainwater will be supercharged and ready to use the next day. Tuck it into your apothecary and save it for a rainy day. 😉
