This toning foam is packaged in an innovative way that eliminates the need to use cotton pads or wash cloths, which ultimately reduces your carbon footprint. But does it actually work? Read on to find out! First Impressions My first impression was pretty good. The packaging is nice and the delivery system—just apply directly to skin or hands—is very cool. I applied the toner foam directly to my face and I could immediately feel a slight tingly sensation, which let me know that it was doing something. However, when I got too close to my upper lip line, there was a minor burning sensation! It didn’t last long, but it was uncomfortable nonetheless. The smell is slightly medicinal and not especially pleasant. Performance Unfortunately, after using this product for a few weeks now, I have not seen any difference in my pores whatsoever. They look exactly the same as before and the only noticeable effect from this toning foam has been an increased sensitivity in my upper lip line area. In terms of performance, this one falls flat for me—despite its novel packaging and delivery system. Overall, while BENEFIT COSMETICS The POREfessional Tight ‘N Toned Pore-Refining AHA + PHA Toning Foam has a cool concept and excellent delivery system, it simply doesn’t deliver results like other toners on the market do. If you’re looking for an effective pore refining toner that won't irritate your skin, you should probably look elsewhere. I Put HIKI Deodorant Lotion to the Test! Have you been searching for a natural deodorant that is aluminum free? I recently had the opportunity to put the new HIKI Deodorant Lotion in Coconut to the test and boy, did I ever. I threw it into the fire of my hairy, unshaven underarms and gave it a good workout. Read on to learn about my experience with this unique product. My first thought when I received this product was "Oh wow! This looks like a lotion." The twist-up packaging is deceiving because the formulation is thick like a lotion instead of a solid block. This means that you only need a very, very small amount and it goes a long way. What surprised me even more was that it can be used not just in your armpits but also in skin folds and privates (cue cringing face). To put it through its paces, I applied it to my recently unshaven pits (hey—it’s been cold!). It took quite some time to dry down; around 15 minutes on average. But once it dries down, it works like a charm. My sweat and stink were kept at bay all day long! The coconut scent is barely discernible which is great since there are no artificial fragrances added. In addition to being aluminum-free, another key point about this deodorant lotion is that there are no preservatives or fillers either. All of the ingredients are 100% natural. It's perfect for those who have sensitive skin as well, because it does not contain ingredients will irritate your skin or cause any allergic reactions. HIKI Deodorant Lotion is not only aluminum free, but also free of baking soda and parabens. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, HIKI is also cruelty-free and Leaping Bunny Certified.
