[♞]  She blurted what she wanted soo boldly. Sephiroth was no more, the planet was safe because of their efforts and all that was left is for them to live on. However, with this alone time they managed to received..she simply blurted out that she wanted a romantic relationship with him of all people. It was rather..embarrassing to him now knowing that the first initial connection he felt for her must have been the false perception of who he had thought he was. The man he wanted to be like: Zack Fair. However, it looks like she truly wants him even knowing that he never got to be that hero he sought out to be s a child.

Even though he’s spent a large chunk of their time being something he was not, she still chose him. At this point, Cloud could not even help but to avert his gaze away momentarily. The heat felt as if it were ready to spread across his own face. But he held on strong and slightly stoic for the moment before that shell cracked and he could not help but smile. A genuine smile, something that he has found himself doing quite easily around her. “Yeah, we should have a romantic relationship.”

Aerith had hopped with what she had just said so boldly from her lips; hadn’t surprised him too much. Or.. even scaring him off in the process. From the look of things he hadn’t ran off that was heard. Maybe, that was a good thing. That was Aerith for you, she was kind of blunt and spoke her mind. Sometimes it DID put her in trouble. But yes.. with Sephiroth gone with their efforts ridding him from the Planet, there was peace and quiet on Gaia, again. During that time, she had spent with her bodyguard; Cloud – she ended up having feelings for him. A crush? No no, it was so much more than that. It was true and real. Her heart would never steer her wrong.

Though for one thing, she wasn’t too sure on how he felt for her. Did he feel the same exact way for the flower girl? For the things that happened in the process that led him here, it probably never was something that ran throughout his mind. Not like she could read his mind or anything. But, she was certain he was more open to her, than the first time they had met. there was a lot of times, Aerith had thought she would die by the hands of Sephiroth. Nightmares really but.. Cloud protected her and kept her safe away from that terrifying man. She was quite thankful, that no harm was sent her way.

Maybe when she first came across him, he looked and even acted like her past.. love; Zack Fair. Those mako blue eyes had started it all. But yet, him and Zack were two different people; even if there were some similarities between them. But now..? those feelings were real and soley for Cloud. Maybe now she’ll get the chance to meet the ‘real’ Cloud as she told him on the Gondola. Her bright green eyes had looked in his direction and noticed him looking away but why? Was he being shy or was this.. something he might of not wanted? Whatever it was, the brunette clasped her hands and took a step forth. Now seeing that he took a glance and a small smile was seen on his lips. “R-really, you do?! D..Does that mean you have feelings for me?” Her cheeks lightly flared up by his response before quickly placing a kiss on his cheek.

[♞] He couldn’t even believe she would ask him that question was she simply trying to make him blush right here and now? Slowly turning his gaze to the side to act cool as some would say. He kept a hand at his side with another brushing through his own golden locks of hair. “Of course I do. I..I’ve had feelings for you..for some time now.” He spoke with a soft-spoken tone in his voice but there was still that hint of happiness that could be heard in his sentence, even if his face was turned away from her own one could not deny the smile that appeared upon his face.

Makes me wonder why you waited for so long to tell me, Cloud.” Taking a short pause, she extended her hand and softly grabbed a hold of his hand; looking at him with a smile grew on her face. “Just maybe you was waiting for me to say something. After everything that happened..to the point that even Sephiroth can get into my head and control me..I just..needed to wait.” Soft was his words before glowing hues turned towards her and a warm smile appears on his face. “But now I know, that I really feel something for you, maybe I have all this time when we met. [♞]  Honestly, sometimes Cloud wondered why he even chose the life of a courier, it had been quite some time since he’s seen the old gang and luckily the last job allowed him to see half of them with the exception of Yuffie of course considering she resided within the opposite direction of the continent. But it was good to see all his old buddies still doing well for themselves, he included. Arriving back at the house he’s managed to achieve for himself through lots of hard work and connections the blond decided that it would be adequate time for a bath.

He undid his dark pants but they kept up, however, just barely. Next was his shirt that had left his body. And it was at this time he noticed or rather heard the doorknob turning. And the person behind that door..well surprisingly it was Aerith. Who would have expected her to be quite the peeping tom? “Wouldn’t be a bad thing. Anyway, any reason you came here? Or was there still more you wanted to see?”

He figured she would have been with the rest of the committee, even though Cloud did not publically work with them, he did respect what they’ve done and the progress they’ve made with the town. She came towards him, slowly his gaze turned towards the side. He could not even look her in the eye, there was some much that’s happened since he’s last seen her. The town was called Radiant Garden back then, and when it fell to darkness..well instead of looking for a way to help his friends out in Traverse town he chose to look for someone specifically through the darkness.

Ever since that fateful day, a darkness had risen from within, and it’s been that same darkness cloud has been fighting for quite some time. And so far, it was nothing more than a losing battle. He saw no light within anything these days, he’s lost it..or perhaps he’s oblivious that the light has been with him al this time. Within each and every single one of his friends. However, wherever the light is, Cloud will fight desperately to find it once again but before then he needed to cast the dark out forever. “Have you seen someone? Silver hair and carries a long sword.” It was straight to business with his encounter with his old friend.

As Aerith had approached the blond male, she had noticed he couldn’t even bother to look straight in her bright green eyes. Why is that? Did something happen so bad that he could not directly gaze at her? Surely, she could of asked him about it. Best not so when she feared he would not mention a word to worry her. Yet.. she was already greatly worried about him. Surely, the brunette might of had worked with the committee, being the people she had considered to be her friends – but whenever Cloud was away she could not help but be worried. Always having some kind of doubt if he would return or not. Yet, some faith stayed within her heart and the answer was clear as day; with him being here.

Just being a few inches away from Cloud, Aerith could sense some kind of darkness that he had shed himself in. Or seemed to be that way. Why must he surround himself in the darkness when it never was the answer. Clearly, light was. But you cannot have light without some kind of darkness that follows it. Logic it was just as each heart had light and dark. Maybe Aerith had that too but.. she was seen to be a pure hearten young woman. “U-um.. I don’t think I have seen anyone of that description as of yet. Are you.. searching for him? If you are… be careful, please.” At that point, she had pleaded him for his own safety. If this was about finding his own light and going after this said character; would he find the answers he looking for? The answer could be right in front of him.

[♞]   “Didn't think so..” He spoke softly, almost slightly disappointed. As though his hopes were to finally find this swordsman and finally be rid of the darkness within him. Now that she had no further information for him his plan was t simply leave and try another search the next day. But before the blond even gotten the chance to move his ears heard a scream that echoes through town. People within the vicinity also had heard the scream and rushes towards the source to investigate what had happened.

Meanwhile, at the designated location, a woman had been attacked by one of the creatures known as a heartless. Her lifeless body now laid onto the pavement. Blood slightly spilled from her open wound given to her by the gremlin of darkness until slowly her heart escaped her body. Darkness began to surround the corpse until finally another heartless was made. The people in the area witness the entire scenario and began to scream and run in terror but some of these individuals met with the same fate and were turned into heartless.

[♞]  “I just know better not to eat anything I make.” He spoke rather teasingly from the kitchen, hands pulling out the necessary ingredients he needed and then placed onto the table. Just like his memories of camping, he did not have much to work with but it will still make a fine meal for the both of them. Cloud began to rummage through drawer after drawer until…aha he found himself a cutting knife. It would have been extremely silly if he just used his sword. Funny how after a single game he would find himself cooking in her kitchen of all places.

“Alright, if you want you can hang out with your mom..or even come in if you want. The ex SOLDIER is at work.” Cloud spoke with such confidence twirling the knife between his digits as he began cutting veggies such as carrots and celery, placing the pieces into a bowl. That job was now over, his attention turned over the chicken, grabbing himself another clean knife and began to slice the meat at all. Working with breasts gave cloud the opportunity to cut them in the form of strips.

[❀] “And why is that? Are you afraid that your OWN cooking may put you in the hospital? Or your death bed?” Was he truly being serious about right now? His cooking couldn’t be THAT bad, right? Only one way to find out and she shortly will. For the brunette, she had simply stood outside of the kitchen area for the time being and her back had laid against the wall, tapping the bottom of the heel of her brown boots against the wooden pavement.

Now and then, Aerith had peeked her head through the door way just to see Cloud was okay with finding the tools he needed to make the meal. From what it looks like to her eye sight that.. he found them already with ease and no issues arise. If he needed any help with cutting something or even measuring something with the right amount, she would have no problem with that. She may of had not much experience at all when it came to cooking; she wouldn’t mind lending a hand his way. Who knows, maybe she could learn something new.

Hearing him speak, she blinked her eyes and took small steps into her OWN kitchen, eyeing the blond. “Of course, I’ll come in since I do live here or is that something you forget, Mister ex-SOLDIER, eh?” She winked a eye playfully before pulling out a chair at the kitchen table and took a seat, watching him carefully. “From the looks of it, you know what you are doing, after all which is always good~. Teehee!!”

I'm gonna need you to get me a frying pan and then..maybe pasta...or rice whichever you happen to have. I mean if we were camping this is the part we'd be trying to build a campfire. Some of those days in the wilderness were...” He paused for a moment as if he was staring into space for a few moments. Everything in his mind was blank right before there played a scene of him actually having a camping trip during his days as first class. “Harsh..I can still feel the cold air sometimes. Nature can just be very unforgiving.”

“I'm curious though..between you and your mom which one of the two of you is the better cook?” The question really was redundant but it was fun nonetheless only to see just which of the two was the better cook. At least if it was her mom he would have something snarky yet teasingly to say.

That very hand that struck her rear now kept at his own side as he stood before her. “Good, it's about time I do see you blush from time to time. And this spank, free of charge. [♞]  In a flash, the male's body had transcended into this weird odd world. Cloud found himself in this weird town once again. Doing whatever he could to survive another day and that meant doing odd jobs for the people in this rather strange town. It had been a few days since he's been here, separated from his group of friends. For the life of him he could not remember what they were doing prior to arriving here, however, he remembered without a fact that he was with friends he could name right off the bat. Tifa, Barret, Aerith etc were the names that continued to dance around in his mind. Cloud had spent the first few days in this land looking for them hoping to have found one of them, but obviously, not a single one of his friends was found which only led the blond to assume he was the only one that appeared within this strange place.

Probably for the best and it placed his mind at ease knowing they were at least safe. “Right.” His mind popped out of its train of thought as he now continued on with his day. Traveling through the small town, there was nothing really to do in this place now that he's made the people's lives quite easier. But then her came one of the town's elders. If Cloud could recall this man's name is Theodore, but his face looked as if he was in a panic. This made the blond increase his movement speed to ensure the man does not even strain himself.

“Cloud!!..We need you.” The man spoke out, almost out of breath. Evidence that he was probably jogging back as far as his feet could have taken him. The ex SOLDIER's eyes glance at the elder. “Hmm?” He spoke waiting for the man to now relay his news. “Cloud, we've gotten word that there's a monster out in the fields. A Behemoth, it's cornered a few townsfolk that were out gathering herbs. There are already casualties..please Cloud help us.” Granted the only reason Cloud felt the elder man was confident in his abilities were the collages of swords the blond kept sheathed on his person. But this news was disturbing, a behemoth of all things. It left the blond with no time at all, so he rushes off towards the towns' exit.

Feet quickly propelling him through the field, ears hearing a roar and some faint screaming. The wind provided him with all the direction he needed by carrying their voices. Now, at that area the Behemoth had already taken out three of their fighters, their corpses lie on the field in a pool of their own blood. There were just two of their fighters left and they were already beaten and battered. Wounded and afraid these two were prepared to do whatever it took to keep the few five citizens safe. The large beast then huffed and charges towards one of these fighters, however, a large gust of wind collided with its form throwing it back quite the distance away.

The people were shocked at this situation, eyes turning around only to look behind them spotting the blond in dark clothing holding his large sword over his. Shoulder “It's the stranger.” It's Cloud.” They cried with relief. “I'll bring the bodies back, no go!” The fighters wanted to provide some back up however, Cloud's stern look alone was enough to let them think twice of staying. The last thing the town needed was more casualties, families needn't be burdened and destroyed by the death of a loved one. And so Cloud decided he would take this beast on alone. The Behemoth found its composure and lets out a mighty roar that echoes throughout the field. Cloud stood in a stance more than prepared for this upcoming battle.

[♞] “Hah, maybe I’m not planning to eat.” He spoke teasingly walking into the house after she steps into for manner’s sake. Cloud began looking around for Elmyra but she was not seen in the house. Probably already in her room, that makes it easier for him to cook without feeling a dead glare. However, he understood why she felt that way. His eyes were all the evidence that would suggest Cloud had ties with Shinra. And Shinra made lives hard for those in the slums and not to mention it might be a reason Aerith’s life is the way it is now.

“Alright I’ll see what I can make.” Spoke the male stepping towards her fridge, hands opening the door to spot some chicken, among other small snacks and things like cheese. Yes, definitely something he can make from what he sees. “We’re in luck, I can make something that wouldn’t get you sick.”

[ ❀ ] “If you aren’t planning to.. eat here. Why are YOU here. Is there something you want to SAY or even.. DO, eh?” The tone of her voice was only joking. Then again, played along with his words. To her, it seemed he was teasing her. What else is new? He probably wanted to see the CUTE expressions she always had made. After stepping inside, she heard foot steps also entered the same. No other than it had belonged to Cloud’s. After all, Aerith DID invite him there. Oh no, wait.. maybe ORDERED him. Silly thoughts, really.

No sounds or a sheer appearance of her mother to be around. This was also good, just meant Elmyra didn’t have to be overprotective of her one and only daughter. But who wouldn’t be? When Aerith was always around danger or always in fear, that someone out there was watching her.. more like after her. “Oh okay.. well I hope its good though.” The brunette said as a slight smile approached her lips, before making a entrance to the kitchen of her home. Best to keep an eye on him, just in case he hurts himself on accident or something so.. silly. “Better be or else you may have to take me some doctor could look at me. I’m sure you won’t goof this up~.”

[♞]  “I just know better not to eat anything I make.” He spoke rather teasingly from the kitchen, hands pulling out the necessary ingredients he needed and then placed onto the table. Just like his memories of camping, he did not have much to work with but it will still make a fine meal for the both of them. Cloud began to rummage through drawer after drawer until...aha he found himself a cutting knife. It would have been extremely silly if he just used his sword. Funny how after a single game he would find himself cooking in her kitchen of all places.

“Alright, if you want you can hang out with your mom..or even come in if you want. The ex SOLDIER is at work.” Cloud spoke with such confidence twirling the knife between his digits as he began cutting veggies such as carrots and celery, placing the pieces into a bowl. That job was now over, his attention turned over the chicken, grabbing himself another clean knife and began to slice the meat at all. Working with breasts gave cloud the opportunity to cut them in the form of strips.

[♞] Arriving back at the bar his entire body bloodied after thatstruggle. Though admittingly Cloud had dropped his guard and becametoo overconfident in his own enhanced abilities and the foe hadmanaged to give him just one small cut, however, after that littleincident Cloud had triumphantly won the battle against the greatestfoe he will ever have the pleasure of duel: The Tonberry. Uponlistening towards the female's question Cloud did nothing but shookhis head, perhaps it was better to hide this little fact. “Amonster from another job.”

Hollow Bastion, what was once a beautiful garden is now in the process of reconstruction. The darkness had taken its toll onto the town, however, thanks to the heroics of one boy and his friends the heartless were at bay but not completely eradicated. More than one occasion these creatures tend to appear from the earth to plague the citizens. It was thanks to the efforts of Leon and his crew of freedom fighters that the town was not completely overrun.

Cloud kept himself away from the public scene, paying his own weight to the reconstruction in his way. From the shadows of course. And he was always on his own, somewhere to concentrate, looking for answers that will help him find his lost friend and also keeping his own inner darkness at bay. Now the male spent his current moment outside of the town’s pub.

It seemed things around Hollow Bastion was slowing down.. finally. Except the thing is.. the heartless was still a potential threat. There was times, Aerith had walked around town and could see some heartless running all about. Even enjoying a fresh bite out of a sea salt ice cream was never enjoyable these days. Which was a little depressing.

With Aerith being part of the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee, she had greatly helped Leon, Yuffie and the others to keep things in tact. But Leon acted as a commander well - a leader and that was someone they needed. The times where Leon had to go and get rid of the majority of heartless; the brunette came along to aid him in the battle. Aerith was never a fighter but acted more as a healer. Giving the healing potions he needed. It would be quite helpful if she had a weapon, too. Like.. a keyblade like the keyblade hero; Sora. But this is how it was going to be and she was alright with it.

To make sure the town’s people were safe and sound, Aerith was walking around the area and some people walked about. So that must still be a good thing; knowing people were not scared or feared those pesky heartless. Little did she know.. with her bright green eyes had caught a glimpse of a familiar blond man. No other than Cloud, it seemed. This was the first time.. she had came across him in a long while. Where was he? Must of been dealing with his own inner demons. That being the darkness within him. “Cloud…? You’re here? I don’t think I have seen you.. for awhile.”

[♞] Aerith? She was here? He figured she would have been with the rest of the committee, even though Cloud did not publically work with them, he did respect what they've done and the progress they've made with the town. She came towards him, slowly his gaze turned towards the side. He could not even look her in the eye, there was some much that's happened since he's last seen her. The town was called Radiant Garden back then, and when it fell to darkness..well instead of looking for a way to help his friends out in Traverse town he chose to look for someone specifically through the darkness.

Ever since that fateful day, a darkness had risen from within, and it's been that same darkness cloud has been fighting for quite some time. And so far, it was nothing more than a losing battle. He saw no light within anything these days, he's lost it..or perhaps he's oblivious that the light has been with him al this time. Within each and every single one of his friends. However, wherever the light is, Cloud will fight desperately to find it once again but before then he needed to cast the dark out forever. “Have you seen someone? Silver hair and carries a long sword.” It was straight to business with his encounter with his old friend.

Feeling a sudden slap to her behind, the brunette quickly turned around and stared at the blond, blushing rather darkly on her cheeks. “..D-did you just slap my butt? You have some explaining to do, mister!! So fess up or else I’ll MAKE you.” She said before crossing her arms and awaited his response. It just surely.. surprised her that he did such a thing in the first place. If he.. did, that is. That was one way to get her attention.
