Kala Patthar Experience in Nepal
Reaching Everest Base Camp was incredible, but the true highlight of the trek was the early morning climb to Kala Patthar. Waking up in the dark, bundled in layers against the biting cold, I slowly made my way up the steep, rocky path, my breath short in the thin air. Every step felt heavy, but as the first light of dawn touched the snow-covered peaks, all the struggle was forgotten. From the top of Kala Patthar, at 5,545 meters, the view was breathtaking—Everest stood massive and proud right in front of me, glowing golden in the sunrise. The moment felt surreal, peaceful, and overwhelming, like standing on the world's roof. That view, more than anything, made the entire Everest Base Camp trek unforgettable.
