Lemme add a teeny bit.

-) Colonizing Heaven isn't some feat that the humans randomly succeed in achieving without consequences. They have to get used to the climate, the flora, the fauna, and are dealing with Shepahalum forcing them into fighting his war, as well as his demon allies who constantly take advantage of them. There's always the constant threat of Shepahalum showing up to wipe them off the map in a fit of rage if they don't give in to his demands.

-) Dmitry seeing right through Shepahalum and is forced to go behind Donovan's back to keep his people safe. He plots over time to break Lane's "marriage" to Shepahalum because he's tired of seeing her in a constant state of pain and distress (romanced or not, no one wants to see their comrade wandering around with a gaping hole in their stomach).

-) Malbonte is putting his past connections to good use and is searching for a way to make good on his promise to put down his old master for good and sever their connection. His success depends entirely on how many diamonds you spend.

-) Rebecca is alive because her execution was called off at the last moment, as the resistance rallied against Eragon's decision to have her killed. Unfortunately, she is put in solitary confinement until her superiors can trust her again. Eragon is deeply resentful of this and makes Vicky the object of his rage because he hates feeling boxed in like this and is sick of Malbonte's descendants dodging the consequences of their actions. Can be the reason why he leaves Donnie to rot, because Donnie is close friends with Vicky.

I need to say this.

It is SO ANNOYING how 🔥🔥🔥 this man is! UGHHHH!!

I still don’t know what LI I’m going to choose. Everybody is so messed up. Earlier I mentioned not being sure about romancing Declan anymore due to how absurd he is. Xavier is really wonderful, but I cannot instigate a breakup between him and Emma. It would feel sooo wrong! Even if their relationship is petering out, I still wouldn’t be able to do it.

So that leaves Fabian.

Yes, he’s mind numbingly sexy. He’s really good at flirting. When he’s sweet, it’s swoony and perfect. Plus, he plays the guitar which is my weakness. But then there are times when I want to bitchslap him. Hard.

His hot temper is an issue. He doesn’t think when he’s angry and that means anything stupid and preventable could happen. I do not want to constantly save this man from the consequences of his own stupid actions. Sounds just like someone I married.

The biker gang seems fun at first glance, but it’s starting to feel more like opening Pandora’s box. It’s dangerous, but not so much in a fun way.

So what/who should I do? There are all these loose diamond options to take scenes with Oliver and Julian, but I seriously doubt that could go anywhere good. Oliver is shady af (it’s implied that he’s the one who paid Slater, right? Could be a red herring tho) and Julian feels like a trap. Actually marry him and Vivienne will never go away!

I’m going to be a naive romantic and hope that romancing Fabian leads down a path where he wakes up, quits the biker gang, starts a band with Luna and Riley as the lyricist (or harpist?) and they all leave town for good.

Just barely made it to this moment, and slapping the shit out of him was so cathartic. Took a heavy blow to their positive relationship, but I genuinely couldn't care less. Ashriel was determined to make Liren hate him from the moment they met, and he succeeded after trying to prevent her from saving two children in distress and locking Liren up like a wild animal. He took joy in yanking her around like a dog, and I am sick to death of him. If this completely destroys whatever amicable relationship I managed to build with him at the cost of my diamonds, then so be it. I, for one, am so looking forward to punting him off my ship in future chapters.

The way I remembered how Furius was beating Audrey's ass like she was his kid made me realize that Dmitry had no business cutting Malbonte, severing his tendon, and breaking free from his chokehold.

You mean to tell me the same Malbonte everyone was so scared of, that even his absence in Heaven's Secret 1 STILL had them shaking like wet dogs, let himself get cut by a human? I'm a firm believer in the Indomitable Human Spirit, but this is just plot armor and dumbassery.

I've been reading HS3 S2 on YouTube because I still refuse to waste diamonds on the storyline, even during a Diamond Rush. The Squad is getting by purely with plot armor and the power of Donovan bullshitting her way through everything and everyone to make colonizing Heaven an actual thing. Oh, and apparently, Dmitry is so skilled that he was able to cut Malbonte with a knife.

The same Malbonte who managed to solo the entire Heaven's Secret cast in the past, the same Malbonte who was two steps ahead of everyone, the same Malbonte who is so powerful that his very name had bitches trembling. I don't care if you're a super soldier or the most exceptional human on the planet. You are not cutting Malbonte unless he wants you to cut him. Don't even get me started on the squad acting so shocked that Shepahalum (fuck spelling his name right) isn't interested in helping them and is just using humans as meat for his army.

I had the stats to straight-up murder Georgie's ass, but I decided to see what would happen if I DIDN'T have Mercy blast him to kingdom come, and this happens. Volpe, guard dog that he is, kills Georgie. He did say that he would bury him if he so much as breathed in Mercy's direction, and he kept his word. I'm glad that he's dead and glad that Volpe came through and defended his lady, but I'm worried about how this will affect Virginia... I mean, Georgie was her brother, and she loved him... His death will most likely infect her with the same need for revenge, just like Mercy.

All in all, Mercy can breathe a little easier now.

Just when I was starting to think that my mc was going to have it easier compared to my old mc from the first Saintfour book, this shit happens. When she's not being stalked, robbed, and ignored by law enforcement, she's either seeing things or being haunted. At least my old mc had some moments of peace, but for this one, these supernatural attacks are ongoing in her day-to-day life.

This. This was exactly what I wanted! I wanted to see this man yearn, then completely lose it if anyone so much as laid a finger on Mercy. Volpe may be his employer's dog, but by the end of the day, Mercy is the one holding the leash. His reaction to George's attempt to harm her was completely warranted, and I wouldn't expect anything less from a man who once chopped up the lowlife responsible for hurting his sister.
