i found it a bit late into the month, but i am doing avian august by @cookiedoves again. not well enough health wise to make an encyclopedia like last year, but i am still reading about these delightful birds and learning lots of fun facts, and i love hearing their song.

i made an art draw-along / walkthrough / tutorial to hopefully inspire people to experiment with some mixed media, and to rekindle the whimsy and joy of just making art with no pressure. it is free to download on the itchy webbed site !

it that time of the year again, where i get to draw sweet lil animals for people and actually feel fulfilled in spite of the neverending migraine.

i painted my sabre ! and have been fencing 3x a week for over a month, plus my first competition, and it is still looking flawless (on the inside. where i painted it. do not ask about the gold guard. we do not speak of it) thank you beloved for stitching together the felt pad for me, and for being a very patient hand model
