אֲנִי קָטָן,
בְּעוֹלָם שֶׁגָּדוֹל מִמֶּנִּי.
עִם הַחְלָטוֹת שֶׁלֹּא אֲנִי לָקַחְתִּי.
עִם מְצִיאוּת שֶׁלֹּא אֲנִי יָצַרְתִּי.
טְרָאוּמָה קוֹלֶקְטִיבִית,
וַאֲנִי קָטָן.
סְלִיחָה, פָלַסְטִין.
סְלִיחָה שֶׁאֲבוֹתַי חָטְאוּ.
סְלִיחָה שֶׁנּוֹלַדְתִּי.
אִם הָיִיתִי יְכוֹלָה לִבְחֹר,
הָיִיתִי בּוֹחֶרֶת כֹּל מָקוֹם אַחֵר,
רַק לֹא פֹּה.

אֵיךְ מְדַבְּרִים עַל שָׁלוֹם,
כְּשֶׁכֻּלָּם סְבִיבִי צְמֵאִים לְדָם?
זֶה בַּדְּבָרִים הַקְּטַנִּים.
זֶה בְּלִדְאֹג שֶׁאֲנִי אֶהְיֶה בְּסֵדֶר.
לִשְׁתּוֹת מַיִם, לְצַחְצֵחַ שִׁנַּיִם, וּלְמַהֵר כְּשֶׁזּוֹרְקִים עָלַי טִילִים.
לִשְׁאֹל אֶת מִי שֶׁאֲנִי אוֹהֵב
אֵיךְ הֵם מִתְמוֹדְדִים עִם הַמְּצִיאוּת.
אֲנִי בּוֹרֵחַ לְיָרֹק, אֲנִי בּוֹרֵחַ לֶשֵׁינַה, וְיוֹתֵר מִכֹּל, אֲנִי מַרְגִּישׁ שֶׁלֹּא מַגִּיעָה לִי מְחִילָה עַל פְּשָׁעִים שֶׁלֹּא אֲנִי בִיצַעתִי. וַאֲפִלּוּ שֶׁאֲנִי נִלְחָם עַל מְצִיאוּת אַחֶרֶת, אֵין לִי אֶלָּא לְהוֹדוֹת בְּפֶה מָלֵא, כָּשַׁלְתִּי.

Thoughts On The War / Moth
I'm small,
In a world that's bigger than me.
With decisions I did not make.
With reality I did not create.
Collective Trauma,
And I'm small.
I'm sorry, palestine.
I'm Sorry my fathers have sinned.
I'm sorry I was born.
If I could have chosen,
I would choose anywhere else.
Just not here.
Just not here.
How do we talk about Peace,
When everyone around me are thirsty for blood?
It's in the small things.
It's in making sure I'm gonna be okay.
Drink water, brush my teeth, and hurry up when rockets are thrown at me.
Its in asking the ones I love
How are they dealing with this reality.
I'm escaping with weed, escaping with sleep, and more than anything, I feel like I don't deserve forgiveness for crimes I did not commit. And even while I fight for a different reality, I can't help but admit,
I have failed.
There are days where I feel like the only one who's still agreeing to talk about Peace.
