okay but like. dropship camp. everyone, being the fact that they are cirminals, swearing all the goddamn time

octavia, picking up words from the other delinquents because her mother never swore and never let bellamy swear around her, and using them completely out of context, and then eventually just using any combination of any two or three of them to get her point across (she’s so terrifying when she wants to be that no one contradicts her use of them anyway)

jasper complaining long and loud while the spear wound in his chest heals. monty complaining long and loud abut jasper’s complaining, both of them using the exact same curse words in the exact same sequence

bellamy giving up trying to speak cleanly for his sister’s sake within a day, and giving up on trying to get her to do the same within a week

raven knowing curse words in about ten different languages cause she got bored for a week and learned them all and teaching them to octavia and whoever else asks

clarke becoming known for rarely swearing, and even then it’s in the most dire of situations. she doesn’t react when any of them do it, not even the annoyed looks bellamy gave out that first day. and then one day a kid accidentally sets part of the wall on fire and once they all make sure it won’t spread there’s just kind of absolute silence as they watch it burn cause they don’t want to waste water and hey, it’s cold, and into that silence clarke says in this clear, loud voice “fucking shit” and the whole camp just bursts out into laughter
