Help me save my family from hunger and homelessness.
I am a young man in my twenties, living in an area torn apart by war and famine. I am no longer just a young man searching for a future. I have become the father, mother, and support for my extended family, which includes my mother in the hospital, exhausted by life, fear, and deprivation.
We are now displaced. We move from place to place, carrying nothing but fear and a little hope. We search for a morsel of food to satisfy our hunger, a shade to protect us from the heat, or a drop of water to quench our thirst every day. We have nothing to console them with but tears.
My aunt is 23 years old. She suffers from severe spinal atrophy and severe malnutrition. Her condition worsens day by day due to the lack of medicine, or even sufficient food for her weak body. We cannot afford her treatment or even the simple food that would keep her alive. Medicine is expensive, food is almost non-existent, water is scarce, and the bombing continues relentlessly. The family's children tremble with hunger and fear, and the hearts of mothers bleed as they watch their children wither before their eyes without anything to support them.
I no longer ask for much... except to live. To find something to eat today, to treat my sister, and to be quiet in their final days.
I beg you, from a broken heart, to help us.
