Enorme plensbuien die in korte tijd hele straten onder water zetten. ‘Wen er maar aan, want het gaat steeds vaker voorkomen’, zeggen weerdeskundigen. Maar waarom dan? Het begon ooit met graffiti spuiters, maar tegenwoordig zijn er ook echte kunstenaars aan het werk. Streetart heet het. Tienduizenden kinderen zijn volop bezig met de eindmusical van groep 8. En onze gast zit boordevol advies voor al die kinderen. Anouk Maas komt naar de studio en geeft antwoord op kindervragen. Wat moet je doen als je je tekst vergeet, of hoe hou je je zenuwen in bedwang?

AND THE WINNER IS.... De "Koelpiet" is verkozen tot de mooiste mural van Nederland bij de allereerste editie van de Dutch Street Art awards. Deze mural is gemaakt door de kunstenaars Colin van der Sluijs en Super A in 2013 voor Heerlen Murals, curator Raenys Martis. Dit is natuurlijk de kers op de taart voor het kunstwerk dat mooi in het centrum van Heerlen pronkt. De jury bestond uit:Hedy D'Ancona, Voormalig Minister van Cultuur, Voormalig voorzitter Amsterdamse Fonds voor de Kunst (AFK) , Ans Markus, Kunstenares, D*FACE, Londense street art legende, Annemarie de Wildt, Conservator Amsterdam Museum, Ben EINE, Londense street art legende, Bert Jan Ter Braak, Hoofdredacteur Kunst en Cultuur Telegraaf. During Serious Request 2015 Johan Moorman made a big mural in Heerlen (NL), commissioned by @heerlenmurals. The illustration is inspired by the big mining history of the region, the heavy industry and it's monotone architecture. The DSM powerplant, which looks like a dystopian sci-fi environment. This 60's building has many rims and edges, glass and pebble, which made it even more difficult to paint.The artist thought the people could use some perspective so he added the text 'Let The Good Times Roll'.
