@heheher
I was lazy as Hell today and I dont care.
I just finished watching The Staircase on Netflix. Then Scott and I had a serious conversation about what we should do if one of us is killed under suspicious circumstances to make sure the survivor isn’t wrongfully accused. This is what my life has become.
morphinetomichiko replied to your post: I have a slight obsession with true crime. If you...
I used to be really, really into True Crime, but around the time when my brother divorced his wife and I was binging on Snapped, I started having nightmares his ex-wife did something to him and *WE* were on Snapped and I don’t think I’ve watched since lol. It sucks because that stuff is SO interesting!! Which Podcasts do you listen to?
I’m sorry to hear that. I could see why you’d want to back off from true crime. I’ve listened to Criminal, Sword and Scale, Generation Why, True Grime Garage, In the Dark, Dirty John, Serial, Unsolved Murders then the rest are entertainment or medical podcasts.  I have a 40 min drive to and from work, so I usually listen during my commute or when I am cleaning at home.
I have a slight obsession with true crime. If you look at my podcast play list it is about 90% true crime. I watched Evil Genius on Netflix a few weeks ago, now I am watching The Staircase. My favorite shows to fall to sleep to are Law and Order and Criminal Minds. No wonder I have jacked-up dreams sometimes.
My favorite line from the finale:
Jack: You shot me!
Dean: Well, you were acting like a lunatic.
I go back and forth about Serena Joy. Most of the time I can’t believe that she is supporting this bullshit, but every once in awhile I kind of feel bad for her. She would probably be a lot happier back at the Buy More with Chuck.
@morphinetomichiko, I totally forgot she got saddled with baby Dexter. What a mess of a season that was.

Things I'm gonna need from season three of Riverdale.
- bughead and falice happy and thrivingÂ
- Mary Andrews back full time cause the girl has to talk some sense into her boy
- more joaquin so we can get a storyline for Kevin
- a storyline for JosieÂ
- more sweet peaÂ
- just more of the serpents in generalÂ
- a flashback episode that focuses on the history of the parentsÂ
- more of Fred and Fp’s friendshipÂ
- Hiriam Lodge six feet under
I agree with all of this, with the addition of less Archie Andrews. He’s the worst.
How the Hell is Nick not dead?!
One of the shows I have watched while on hiatus was Netflix’s Safe. It was only 8 episodes so it was a pretty quick watch. I really enjoyed this show and without spoiling anything, here’s why:Â
- I enjoyed Dexter attempting to use a British accent
- The actors are a mix of everyday people. That’s something that I really like about British shows. It isn’t like in a lot of American shows where almost everyone is “beautiful” by Hollywood standards.
- The story line was good and I was impressed how it all played out.
- Whenever the characters did something that seems shady, they just owned it and explained their actions. They didn’t make stupid decisions just to enhance the drama.
I have never read anything by Harlan Coben, but maybe I should.
So, hello Tumblr, my old friend
When I got my new phone last year, I decided it was a good time to step away from Tumblr. I felt like I was spending so much time screwing around on the internet and just wasting time. I just had surgery on Friday so I am on an LOA from work and have some free time so I decided to come back. Other social media sites pretty much just piss me off anymore so I am coming back to the one where I can control what I see and just enjoy my pop culture obsession in peace.
I’m about to start the last episode of The Keepers on Netflix.  I am a sucker for true crime.  I was one of the many who got sucked into Making a Murderer.  It’s truly infuriating that possibly 100 woman couldn’t get justice because the statue of limitations ran out on the crime. Â
I had to find a new sitcom to fall asleep to while Scott is out of town so I have been watching Raising Hope.  I have always liked Garret Dillahunt, but I love him in this show.  I’m used to him being so serious like in Burn Notice, Deadwood and Justified, but he is so funny in this show.  We also just finished rewatching My Name is Earl and there are a lot of cameos from it on Raising Hope. Â
Scott is watching My Name is Earl to kill some time.  I forgot how funny Randy can be.  We still bust out “Wakey, wakey, hand off snakey” periodically.
I hate family drama
Scott and I have an adult Halloween party every year.  Even though we have friends and family who don’t get along with each other, we always invite everyone and let them sort it out.  This year my sister is mad because I invited her husband. They haven’t been getting along lately and she’s pissed because he wants to come to the party and she can’t come by herself now.  My BIL has been married to my sister for 16 years and is also good friends with my husband. Am I crazy in thinking that we should be able to invite whomever we want to our party?  We don’t live in shoe box so it’s not like she has to even be in the same room as him.  I realize that I am not married to him, but we still like my BIL. Now my sister says she may not come.
@brigadiergeneralmorphine, I see we didn’t win a date with Timothy Offwithhispants, as the Extra Hot Great crew calls him.
I wish there was a way to know you're in the good old days before you've actually left them.
