Mahou Sensou DROPPED! From Taylor Charts!

I hate to do this so late in the season but Mahou Sensou has been dropped from competing on Taylor Charts. It’s just too bad. Couldn’t get through the 5th episode. I usually just watch all the way through if I get to episode 3 but I felt like I was harming myself in some way by continuing to watch. So that’s it nothing else really to say. If you want to know why its bad just check out the first few episodes. Episode 1 had a little potential but, No. Maybe kids will like it.

Taylor Charts doesn’t have a set number on how many anime compete. It could be a top 20, 25, or even 15. I’d like to keep the same number each time though so out of 30-35 anime per season the number I like to land on is top 20. Rarely are there 25 worthy but there should be at least 20 worth watching for one reason or another.

Now that Mahou Sensou is dropped this season there are 17, so what I’m going to do is this. Tonari no Seki-kun will compete on Taylor charts. It is the first anime short to compete on the main list. It is worthy. In addition to that I will add 2 new series I passed on before. Don’t know what they will be yet maybe 2 more anime shorts. So I’ll take suggestions if there are any. So look out for updates that’ll round out the top 20 on Taylor Charts. As for Mahou Sensou, it has been

The series through seven episodes: (Category Scale: 1.0 Poor - 2.0 Average - 3.0 Good - 4.0 Great - 5.0 Taylor-Elite) ★Story and plot (actual plot): 3.3 (0.0) - Yeah pretty much right in the middle. I do like to see anime stay away from the norm though. Silver spoon tries to do that in just about every way it can. ★Characters: 3.4 (+0.2) - All unique and fun. Everybody is always positive though. Kinda weird and unnatural. But Hachiken is one of the most relatable protagonists this season. ★Setting, Art: 3.0 (0.0) - Good. ★Man Feels: 4.0 (0.0) - Probably the leading category for Silver. Should have some touching, ending, moment things. ★Cute Girls: 3.0 (+0.2) -This is not completely because of Mikage. When there's an anime with few girls this rating is based on how good the series still is without them. ★X-Factor: 2.5 (+1.0) - Farming theme is the X-factor here and its executed pretty well Not amazing, but not bad. Overall 7.0 of 10 (0.0). Pretty much the same exact scores from episode 1. Kinda thing that doesn't exceed your expectations either way. The series through seven episodes: (Category Scale: 1.0 Poor - 2.0 Average - 3.0 Good - 4.0 Great - 5.0 Taylor-Elite) ★Story and plot (actual plot): 2.8 (-0.7) - Kind of all over the place but its alright. 5 people in the four heavenly farmers. Now that's great comedy. ★Characters: 3.3 (-0.5) - Also kind of all over the place, but fun. Guy friend got better, funnier. Ringo and Kousaku are the weaker ones and they're the main characters so that's not really good. Supporting cast is good though. ★Setting, Art: 3.5 (+0.5) -Good art and I like the giant breasts. Don't personally like farms but I appreciate new scenery. ★Man Feels: 3.0 (-0.5) - Funny in an I guess kinda way. Random a better word. Minori helps this category. ★Cute Girls: 3.8 (+0.1) -I really don't like Ringo very much, but every single other girl I do like a lot. Ringo is maybe getting a little better as seen at the end of episode 7. Chubby Minori love. ★X-Factor: 2.8 (-0.2) - If you like random ass shit this anime is for you. Overall 6.7 of 10 (+1.3).
