I could disappear….and no one would notice…..

I’m sitting in my car in the car park at work. I’m not working today but it feels like a safe space. So here I am.

The pain in my head is awful. We have had storms where I live and when you have IIH the after haze/pain is the worst. I can’t be outside without sunglasses.

Please remember this time of year that some of us aren’t celebrating, that this time of year some people feel extra alone and forgotten….

Honestly, with the pandemic and everything it is getting harder and harder to keep upbeat when you have nothing to look forward to….

This Christmas I’ll be watching Marvel movies, sipping wine and listening to Taylor Swift on repeat to get through….

Does anyone else feel like they’re failing....at life

I have been let go from two jobs in one month because of COVID. Two jobs...let that sink in. For a single mum, that is soul crushing. For someone that lives in a small community, it is humiliating. If I get asked one more time “what are you going to do?” I think I will scream!

Truth is, I don’t know what I will do, but I do know that @taylorswift and @michaelfrantiandspearhead-blog are keeping my head above water.

Right now I would love a hug, but COVID so, if you see me down the street say hi.

I miss everything about my job, I miss meeting and welcoming people from around the world. Will I still have my job at the end of this, don’t know. I am just making sure I stay safe and my family stay safe. The money thing will figure out, but people’s lives.......it is all that matters.
