I take it’s below you to take a quick shot too? Hello shorts, my old friend.
I don’t have to take a quick shot when they’re sent to me willingly. I think you forget my status with the ladies.

I take it’s below you to take a quick shot too? Hello shorts, my old friend.
I don’t have to take a quick shot when they’re sent to me willingly. I think you forget my status with the ladies.
And I’m 95% sure you sniff used underwear.
You’re disgusting for even entertaining that idea... Plus we both know I’d rather just sneak a peek instead.
Who would have thought our little queenie was such a nasty pervert!!!
“ oh— uhm, okay…! “
her reply came with a stutter, having clearly been caught off guard by lin’s request. she couldn’t say she’d expected their meeting to be more than brief when he’d approached her earlier, but although miho felt a bit nervous to spend time with someone she wasn’t entirely comfortable with, she was, nonetheless, a bit excited. looking back to her forgotten coffee, miho brought it to her lips and took a small sip, glancing at her company only to quickly look away as their eyes met. awkward… moments later, she had downed the whole thing as an excuse to keep silent.
“Perfect. We can go to the planetarium if you want, too.”
It felt a bit forward to be nearly forcing his company on her, but she seemed okay with the idea. His guilt subsided, though he was starting to feel a bit nervous himself. Lin shook it off, a smile stuck firmly in place.
“You ready? Also here, put your number in. I’ll make sure not to lose it.”
He chuckled, handing his cellphone to the girl as he stood up. He knew it wasn’t her fault, but he wanted to keep the air friendly. Having a laugh at her expense maybe wasn’t the best way, however it was a means he was most familiar with.

"Your butt? Ah, Linda-chan sent me and Kida-nii gave me a spare! Wanted to make sure you’re still alive and kickin’."
"I'd much prefer it if you weren't the messenger. If they were so go damn concerned they could stop by and say hi themselves. Also, what happened to your princess charm? You used to be so much cuter..."
it was nice to see him again. lin had a lot of energy, but at the same time, he was a lot less intimidating than she would’ve thought. meeting his eyes, miho’s smile relaxed into something a bit more natural, and she shifted restlessly in her seat, glancing about the room in a slightly nervous manner.
“ ah— yeah…! “
she nodded in agreement at lin’s statement, although her thoughts of disbelief rose to question how he might go about such a thing. lips remained sealed. if she asked, the skepticism she held would surely leak through her voice.
"Hey, Miho--- I can call you that, right? If you're not busy do you want to hang out?"
Nervousness leaked from her movements, though he didn't think to take it personally. It seemed she was just naturally that way. Again, he found himself drawing no negatives from it. The blond was already in deep and he didn't mind a minute of it, giving into the childish infatuation. He'd like to give himself more credit, but he barely knew her. Not to say he didn't have hope for the future.
"Wanna go to the aquarium in Sunshine 60? I haven't been in awhile!"
she couldn’t help her guilt. there was no use in making excuses, though her words really had been nothing but the truth.
“ it’s ‘cuz i lost my phone… …i had to get a new number. i’m really sorry, lin…! "
would he even believe her? she’d told herself their friendship wasn’t meant to be once she had lost the means to contact him and went on with her life, not sparing him a second thought. the guilt from such a response had a greater impact on miho than the act of losing her phone in the first place. now was not the time, however, to dwell on something past. she shook those thoughts away and tried a smile, weak as it may have been. how to respond…? she’d much rather talk about lin than herself…
“ i’ve been… a little distracted lately… what about you—? "
"No really, I'm not upset! It's okay. Life happens..."
He could help but crack a smile at her flustered state. Miho was so easy to read, it was nice. Something about it felt so comforting. After noticing that he'd practically been staring, he broke the contact and took a quick look around. It seemed that she'd grown a little more sheepish. Maybe something had happened... Not close enough to pry. Better off not asking. The pain of wishing he was closer than he was, felt a bit overwhelming. He'd never had much of a patience.
"Been working... Not much else, sadly! My life's been pretty mundane. Probably time to change that, huh?"

an absentminded gaze trailed from one corner of the room to the other, brown eyes half-lidded with fatigue as the girl slid her palm across the table’s wooden surface. it was her first time visiting this café, some kind of curious habit always pulling her toward places she’d never been before. ( surely she’d run out of new locations soon enough— there was no way for the city to keep up with her always hesitating to visit the same place twice ). her coffee was still steaming, a bit too risky to drink in fear of burning her tongue and regretting the hasty decision for hours to come. a sigh found pale lips, and she went back to her spacey state, interrupted only by the occasional passive thought, coming and going like a leaf being carried away by a stream. someone had approached her— a familiar face? somewhat. the hair had changed. it really had been a long time since she’d last seen him, but still, she recognized the boy much quicker than expected.
“ lin—? right? i—i lost your number… "
Her reaction was much quicker than he'd anticipated. Though, on his part he didn't think he'd be able to forget her even if he tried. It felt kinda nice to think he'd left a similar impression on her. Too early to be making those kinds of assumptions, better not press his own luck.
"It's okay! Not the first time I've heard that..."
A forlorn gaze sank from her eyes to the table, only interrupted with a soft chuckle.
"--kidding! Not going to lie, I was pretty torn up about you not calling me. I'm not the type of person to hold grudges, though."
The blond pulled out the chair next to hers, finding a bit more vitality in her conversation than in any amount of coffee anyways. Elbow planted firmly on the table, he placed his head on his palm, leaning in towards her.
"How's life been treating the lovely Kojima Miho?"
"Sorry baby boy~! I kind of don’t have one.. I broke too many."
"Yeah yeah, save the apologies for someone who cares. What're you doing here anyways?"
burdenlaburnum: "I let myself in!" Maybe Linda and Kida too.
"You interrupted my nap... You could at least call first."
Sliiiiiiiiides in room on socks and crashes in yo bed. "Aaaaaaay bab~!"
"Woah! Who the hell let you in?!"
