;;I really like Griffith being scary af which sometimes this gives this feeling of unsettlement. Here you have this angelic creature who looks like he won’t harm a soul but then you discover his motivations are actually sinister which is such a great antithesis for him. 

It’s because of this I like to highlight Griffith’s dark side more, in fact making him a little more intimidating than he actually appears. Coupled with his feeling of lack of empathy, and other emotions, I wanted to make him have no regrets for what he did to Casca, Guts and the Band of the Hawk, making Griffith pretty selfish. 

However, with the fetus being part of his vessel, he has to battle with that feeling of longing in his heart which makes him feel conflicted feelings towards Casca and Guts. While he feels no remorse, he does feel a strong attraction towards them.

“I shall pardon you,” she spoke lightly, casually brushing the shoulder she had been bumped against. “As long as you bring me a drink, I happen to be parched.”

Farnese was no fool, this was the newly named Phoenix General, the war hero who had defeated Chuder at last, the man who had captured Doldrey with just his own force of mercenaries.

And now he would finding her a drink. “I’ll wait for you by the windows, you may go.”

Serpico breathed an inaudible sigh, following after his mistress as she walked away and through the crowds. Such a mercurial temperament….for a moment he had thought her capable of slapping the poor young man just for a mistake. He should count himself lucky she didn’t seem interested in making a scene…

❝Oh?❞ Griffith sounded, piqued with interest but also surprise. He definitely wasn’t expecting her to bite back the way she did just now, although it was sort of amusing to him.  ❝My apologies– how impolite of me, miss.❞ His voice curled as if he had been exaggerating to match her tone while allowing himself to bow his head before her.

Who was this woman? Griffith had no clue, but someone as cold, and spoiled like that had to come from a noble background, including the fact that she was present at the celebration. Griffith had basically two choices, leave or do what was requested of him. Of course, he had no obligation to do so considering his status but then a part of him chose the latter out of his own best interest.

The moment the pair had left, he sought to it to retrieve her a drink. After passing through what seemed like a sea of nobles, he tried his absolute best to avoid any confrontation with the others as he weaved to and fro until he managed to free himself from the crowd cup in hand. From afar he could spot the girl once more who had been waiting by the windows just like she mentioned.
