Is there romance in these books?

A little bit, but the romance definitely isn't the main plot. There's less romance in Heirs of Chrior than there was in The Legacy Trilogy.

when is book 2 due out? I cant wait

It's scheduled (roughly) for Spring 2015!

I finished the first Heirs of Chrior book this morning and have been googling to try and find a release date for book 2 (I don't normally start a series until there is more than one book published/available). Is there a rough release date planned for the second book?

I don't have a definite release date yet, but The Empty Throne is scheduled for Spring 2015! (Probably March, that would be my guess, but don't quote me on that.)
