[SHHH THE MUN IS DUMB SOMETIMES] [pulls back from Lia a little bit, wanting desperately to escape, the blood bond tugging at her heart, pulling her away, pulling her back towards *him*. ] Where–?

[NAH THE MUN IS ONLY CUTE, ALL THE TIME] Faerie!-- and now-- Laurents! [she steps through the portal, not missing the fact Morgan’s getting a little wiggly.] [They come out into an alley intially, and then Lia quickly and quietly carries Morgan around the corner and inside a bookstore.]  Hi Isaac, bye Isaac! [she swerves around bookcases and other obstacles until she gets to a staircase, taking them up to the above apartments.] The nerd behind the counter playing animal crossing was Isaac, by the way. Or Izzy.

[I’M CARRYING YOU WHERE YOU THINK YOU’RE GOING??] It’s gonna be okay! or... well, safe anyway. [long sigh] [carries her through the shiny portal into... a world almost entirely made of plants and vivid colors.] [the sky is PINK. REALLY PINK HERE. though morgan only gets glimpses of it in between the deep green tree leaves.]  [It really is only around five minutes of walking before Lia stops, hums and looks around, and then opens another tear.] This should be it!

[Laurent replies with a deep, wary sigh. “You can bring her here… Just make sure her…boyfriend doesn’t follow.”]

[Morgan stares off into the distance, feeling utterly and truly just…despondent]

Pretty sure he’s not her boyfriend anymore… [Lia mutters, patting Morgan’s shoulder gently.] Thank you, Laurent. I’ll see you soon. Love you. [After a moment she hangs up, picking Morgan up.] Okay, gonna do something kinda weird real quick, but bear with me, okay?  [She concentrates on a spot in the air, slicing it with her hand and… a tear forms, showing another world beyond it.] We’re gonna cut through Faerie for like, a couple minutes.

He might decide he wants his property back.”] [Morgan looks at Lia, looks at the tear and then just… blinks] …Faerie? [She vaguely remembers Camille complaining about Fae, how much she fucking *hates* the damn things…] I don’t…I don’t wanna go into faerie…

It’s only for a couple minutes! I kind of use it as fast travel, and it’s the quickest way to get over to Laurent’s safely. It’ll be okay, I’ll keep you safe. [weak smile] Okay?

[Morgan just curls up again, pulling her knees up to her chest and wrapping her arms around herself. She desperately wants to go find Adam. She doesn’t know how she can possibly do this without him. She needs him so desperately that it hurts down to the very core of her being]

O…okay…

[The phone rings three or four times before Laurent finally picks up, sounding distracted. “Hello, Lia… where are you? I’ve been worried… is everything okay?”]

I’m sorry, there was an emergency. [Lia rocks slightly, chewing her lip and looking out into the darkness around the park.]  You uh, you know that ghoul on tumblr with the abusive Domitor? He tricked her and had her... her dad turn her. [she grimaces, talking a little quieter as she says that.] Can I bring her to your haven? She’s... she’s pretty messed up right now. [lia gently pats Morgan’s shoulder, frowning.] I don’t think it’d be safe to leave a Childe out here, not for her or anyone else...

I tried so hard…[she shakes her head, just covering her face with her hands.] [She can’t seem to get past that fact – that she had done so much, that she had been so in love with him, done literally everything that he wanted her to do without question…] [the playground is nestled in a clearing in the middle of a wide, wooded area]

I know. I’m sorry. [Lia heads into the park, hunting down that rocket Morgan talked about before carefully sitting down with Morgan in her lap.] [she wiggles a bit, getting her phone out of her shorts.]  I’m gonna make a call, okay? I’m gonna see if my partner will let us hide out in his haven, since a playground rocket isn’t the best spot... [with that, she dial’s laurent’s number.]

[Lia sighs softly, carrying her quickly outside and down the road] ...I think you’re probably a good person. I know I don’t exactly know you, or whatever, but... intuition. You try your best. [She’s still frowning, eyes still darting around with paranoia.] I’m gonna find you somewhere safe. Like, safer than a park. So you can process, okay? I’m sorry-- this has to seriously fucking suck. [She walks briskly down the street, pulling out her senses for figuring where the most nature is in the area...]

You got it. [Lia keeps her eyes foreword, carefully carrying Morgan out of the room and down the stairs, vigilantly watching for anyone else in the house. The entire downstairs is covered in vines and flowers..] And he lied. I’m sorry. [her mouth twists in something between anger and a frown, and she chews her lip.] You deserved better than that.

[It's clear that she's struggling because of the blood bond, that whatever years of being repeatedly exposed to Entrancement and Dominate has done to her is making it impossible for her to see reality... And Lia can probably feel that Morgan doesn't really, fully believe what she's saying right now...]

[...Lia takes a deep breath in, rubbing her forehead.] This isn’t a test anymore. It’s a game he created to see if he could break you. But he’s not gonna do it, we’re gonna get you out of here and get you cleaned up. I’m gonna pick you up, which is totally not what you probably want right now, but I can’t leave you in here with your dad. [And so she grabs morgan, picking her up princess style.] Pleeease don’t claw me to death, okay? Do you have any places around here you used to run off to to hide? From your dad, and all...

[She finds Morgan in the master bedroom, covered in blood, crimson trails cascading down her cheeks. What appears to be the body of a man lays on the ground – a knife plunged into the center of his chest. His eyes are open and aware, however.]

“No no no no no no” [Morgan repeats the words on a loop. This can’t be happening.]

[...She knew Morgan hadn’t been a vampire before, but clearly that had changed.] God damnit... [she growls angry, sharp teeth showing as she walks over and kicks the man on the floor.] Fuck... -- Hey, hey, we need to go. I don’t know where that bastard went and it’s not safe... [...she does contemplate finishing off the man on the floor, however]

[Lia had been working out how to get in without Adam being able to use Toreador abilities on her but... that wail is about the last straw, and while her plants fight adam, she breaks into a window in the bedroom section of the house to find Morgan-- moving fast and cursing.]

[The house is dark, no lights on in the entire place. There is the sound of sobbing and then screams. Another window breaks.]
