I run better than I swing.
Looking at the 3 gifsets you can see that Miles actually has a better balance and more control while running compared to Peter and Gwen. Hence why he is more skilled than the other Spideys while running that using the webshot.
I appreciate the subtle but significantive difference the animators used in their run cycles
okay also the little motion blurs on their hands are a joy
But can we talk about how unique they are?
Peter runs so *heavily* and has his back hunched, short strides, fists closed. He is going for power, not speed
Miles is balanced. He is smooth, solid angles and his head moves he least. He’s probably got a history of running (idk much about Miles sorry)
Gwen runs like a dancer- long strokes, pointed hands, moving your entire body. Her torso swings back the most which makes sense, as she’s the most flexible.
I just love all these little details
Now THIS is what being an animator is all about

Voyaging through strange seas of thought, alone.
A lost genre: text adventures. Popular in the 1980s, especially among dads with aviator nerd glasses and moustaches, sci-fi geeks, and teens who scored way above standardized IQ tests.
The games were always a bit of a minority genre, however, as they mostly required nothing but your imagination and a willingness to immerse yourself into a world of words. Look at image 2, and imagine yourself looking at it for several hours as you’re trying to figure out how to open a door.
Suicide, nightmares, societal collapse, dystopias, some of these games weren’t pussyfootin’ around. With others, it was just dungeon after dungeon and see if you can find the key, jerk. Later games might have luxurious graphics to liven things up. Marvel joined in on the fun with their 1984 QUESTPROBE series, featuring Spider-Man, Hulk, and The Human Torch and Thing:
“Ouch! I scream! I’m The Incredible Hulk ™ now!” <HIT ENTER>
At their best though, the games were tense and addictive and required skilful minds. Sometimes, a little imagination and willingness is all you need.
Though I, with my Muppet puppets and Betty Boop figurines, was a little too young for text adventures, I well remember my brother in his desk chair under the brimming fluorescent light in our basement, the blue screen reflected in his glasses, his mind forever voyaging.
I loved INFOCOM games so hard in the 80s.

CATWALK
Oh my gosh I’m getting closer - just need the visuals.
I love the original sixties Giant Robo/Johnny Sokko, man.
I love this movie even before watching it. I love it that Taika Waititi (the director) calls Idris Elba (Heimdall) Bob Marley, Cate Blanchett (Hella) Nicole Kidman and Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie) the Han Solo of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Love everyone in this movie.
Cry No More
Ziz is a great bird from Jewish mythology, the counterpart of Behemoth and Leviathan. Ziz is said to be so huge that his wings can block out the sun.
The Jewish Aggadah calls Ziz the king of the birds, who stands in the sea with his head touching the sky. It is said that when Ziz laid an egg, the fluid from it breaking flooded six cities.

I’ve been horrendous at keeping my Tumblr up to date ;; I will try to post more, I promise!
Mad Max was ridiculous but I liked it a lot. The cinema was way too loud. I’m getting old.
