COVEN, hey hey, so I I’m here again with a fresh set of Coven winter outfits. Me and the winter season have a love, hate relationship, but it all seems to work out in the end My friend ( @michaelfaucett) and I had a lot of fun shooting this look, so i hope you all like it. .

Isadore sketches! I’ve been having a lot of fun fleshing out his character in this AU. It’s funny how in his original story, I wasn’t sure if I even liked him as a character but now he’s pretty much one of my favorite OCs. 

I have to remind myself try a bit harder to with consistency for his body type. Also I find it funny that a few years ago, I was terrified of “Same Face Syndrome” and now I literally cannot draw the same consistently lol. I think I’ve been doing a bit better recently?

After many, many years of saying I wouldn’t buy an iPad I bought an iPad….and I love it? Like so much?? These are my first two Procreate doodles which I made while lying in bed, for the most part. Damn I love technology.

Last weekend, I was in a group show organized by a friend from college in which artists were asked to make an artwork about films we are inspired by. I chose to do a piece based on Satoshi Kon’s “Paprika”!

I don’t do fanart very often and I’ve never had any of my art on display in physical form so it was actually pretty difficult for me to just…finish something already and be satisfied with it haha. But I’m really happy with how my piece turned out and the show was a lot of fun! I really hope I get invited to do stuff like this again.

Also! The physical piece is still for sale. It’s 25″ x 25″ printed on an 1/3" acrylic sheet. As you can see, the colors are very vibrant and nice~ If anyone wants it, (or a print) shoot me a message.

AU doodle in which Isadore is born in 1990 instead of 1970, leaves his dusty hometown to pursue his music school dreams and ends up going to grad school in the city where Alto lives. 

They meet one day when Isadore wanders into a record store to look for some good jazz vinyls and finds Alto lounging behind the counter noodling on his guitar when he’s supposed to be working. Isadore can’t figure out if he’s appalled or impressed by Alto’s quick-fingered playing and carefree attitude. Alto on the other hand, is delighted at first sight by Isadore: a buttoned-up, small-town Southern boy who tries to act cool but gets so adorably flustered with the slightest amount of teasing. Oh yes!

Isadore tries really hard to pretend that he is not absolutely smitten with this big, loud goth but his prickly façade is always completely dismantled by Alto’s good natured teasing and disarming charm.

Lonac’s “Strange Tales” at Thinkspace Projects.

Opening Friday, May 4th, 2018 at Thinkspace Projects in Culver City, California is artist and street muralist Lonac’s first ever and highly anticipated solo exhibition in the United States entitled “Strange Tales.”

From Thinkspace: “Currently based in his hometown of Zagreb, Croatia, Lonac has produced impressive large-scale, site-specific murals across Europe and worldwide, combining photorealistic rendering with illustrative and two-dimensional stylistic elements. His public murals are painstakingly detailed and primarily executed with spray paint and minimal brushwork, a technique he has self-taught and refined through extensive fieldwork over the years. In his solo debut with Thinkspace, Lonac will present new drawings, paintings, and sculptures, all inspired by his penchant for surreal storytelling.”

This is a must-see exhibition and it will be on view until May 26th, 2018.
