Boy was I surprised to finally watch the finale and see that Lexa wasn't actually like staying with Clarke and Friends... like what a way to get kicked while I'm down. No Bellamy and it wasn't even really Lexa. *screams into the void.

Being an Admiral must be the worst job in Starfleet. you work your whole career to be the one making big decision, only to have the those decisions completely disregarded by the best captains AND like 95% of your coworkers turn out to be evil.
Indra after leaving Sanctum alone for like a day.
Bellamy witness Clarke kill for the first time, and he still has never considered her a killer.
One of the great tragedies of this show is that Clarke was trained to be a healer and after the first season it is a skill she rarely gets to use.
Let your ship sail
This fandom can be, at times, a little toxic about the ships. Why? Why do we care so much? Well, I think it has a lot to do with how media has presented romance for a long long time. The person the protagonist ends up with is like their consolation prize for everything they went through. It’s the light at the end of the tunnel, and in some way, by rooting for the right person for them to drive off into the sunset with, it’s like winning. You won the game. It’s actually kind of an unhealthy way of viewing relationships, but that is what stories have told us relationships are. They are a status symbol, a sign that you won the last battle and now you get to have whatever the hell you want. (call back intended)
That being said, I love shipping, and I think pairings can be used in an interesting way to show how a character has progressed through the story. There are characters I strongly believe are good for each other, are soulmates, and belong together. And queer-bating and NOTPs can ruin a show for me regardless of everything else. I have been rude to people who don’t share my view of a character or pairing, and I’m sorry for that.
I am writing this only to say that at the end of the day, it’s not about having a horse in the race. Remember to enjoy getting to experience the world for a little while. Interact with your fellow fan and find joy in how you both are passionate about the same content. Fandom should be fun.

I’d be down for a Hope vs Levitt fan debate over the greatness of Bellamy Blake because I bet Levitt gets why otherwise sensible women running into danger for the guy.

The thing about what Echo did at the end of 7x4 that bothers me the most is that it seemed really premeditated. It didn’t feel like she was really disturbed by the turn of events. I would not be surprised if she is planning to betray Gabriel and Hope because they are not ‘her people’.
Bellarke Rewatch
One of the most compelling things about Bellamy and Clarke is that in spite of all they have done, the one thing they cannot bring themselves to do is kill the other. No matter what is at stake, or if they are on separate sides of the divide. It is as if they see each other as a representation of their own soul. If they cross that one last line, there is no coming back. In each other, they see redemption, understanding, and a mirror to the humanity inside themselves.

Say what you will about Clarke, but she at least tells people before she kills them most of the time.

Biggest plot twist of the show so far! Raven was Nice to Clarke for a whole episode.
His Dark Materials
Everyone seems so surprised to find Mrs. Coulter understandable in this new adaptation. In the name of full transparency I will say, I have not read the books. My only real knowledge of the story comes from the film which I understand was not a very loyal adaptation. That being said, one of the things that stuck with me from the film was the story of Mrs. Coulter. I felt like that was so compelling and the idea of struggling to get to a place of power so you can actual have what you want is so relatable. Especially since she had to become so cruel and cold in order to do it.
