Hokay so I know there are a lot of you sitting around out there wondering exactly how much of a clique we are and how welcoming we would be to new people. We stand by the idea that if you want to call yourself a Viclockian, you definitely are one, regardless of what sets us apart - whether it be distance or opinions, and I know everyone agrees with me on that.

But we are all a little set in our ways now. You are of course, more than welcome to turn up to the pub with us, or join us at meetups or find us at conventions. But please be aware that if you are showing up for the first time, it may be a little awkward (for you and us!) if you don't know anyone there. Of course, this mostly applies to smaller get togethers. Conventions and any meetups with an event page or inforgraphic are free for all.

But if it’s friends you want, you can start by talking to people, or make a post on the viclockians tag (friendly reminder to check the spelling before you tag it! VIC as in Victoria, not VIcks Vapour drops).

Asks, fanmail, everyone loves getting messages. Larger gatherings may be more comfortable because you'll have more people to meet and talk to and chances are not everyone there will know each other anyway. If you don't like large gatherings, just start by talking to people. Treat it like any other friendship.

This has long since stopped being a group of Sherlock fans. Please evolve with us. <3

yeah so as you may or may not know: My computer died and replacing it/recovering the files is gonna be expensive

job hunting is long and tedious and as yet has yielded no results so while i’m jobless i’m raising money via art commissions
