new oc!
his name is flower and he’s a hellhound mutt that loves you unconditionally while simultaneously condemning your soul to hell
he’s a mix of the lust/gluttony/sloth aspects and thus not too strong in terms of demons and ranks and blah blah my blasphemous demon headworld stuff
The Cù-Sìth Scottish Mythology
The Cù-Sìth, which means ‘fairy dog,’ was said to have a dark-green, shaggy coat and to be about the size of a large calf. Its eyes were large and had a fiery glow and its tail was long and curled and some times it was braided. It was said to have paws the size of a man’s hand. The beast was said to roam the wild moors and highlands, making its lair in rocky clefts and crevices.
The Cù-Sìth was feared as a harbinger of death. In a similar way the Grim Reaper appears at death to lead the soul to the afterlife, so the Cù-Sìth takes the soul to the fairy realm, or underworld. In this role the Cù-Sìth holds in Scottish folklore a function similar to that of the Bean Sidhe, or banshee, in Irish folklore. The hound is said to have hunted silently for its victim but would sometimes rend the air with three blood-curdling yowls that carried for a great distance and even far out over the sea. Who ever heard the howling of the beast had to reach a place of safety by the third howl or be killed by the sheer terror.

I wanted to submit my character, his name is Gore (in this is in his hellhound form), and I count on writing a story about him, but I don’t know yet if he’s going to be the main character or not.

AFTER LAST NIGHT’S STREAM i promised i would post that impromptu hellhound i drew, and since i really didn’t like the drawing, i decided to spruce it up a little. i haven’t tried drawing one of these in like, over a year i think! and i’m still super unfamiliar with animal anatomy so yes–still better than my last design!
