i’m actually super glad bendis wrote emma and teen jean finally getting along. emma is a teacher and this jean grey needs a lot of teaching and this jean grey is not the jean grey she knows, she’s not a fucking adult, so why would emma, a grown mature woman have any beef with a teenager?  why would she be so petty to hold a grudge against a girl who hasn’t done anything wrong to her yet? if anyone has ever doubted emma’s ability to be a hero, these are the moments i love to throw in their faces. it doesn’t matter what emma’s opinion is of teenage jean, what matters is that’s she’s a teenage girl who is still coming into her telepathic abilities and emma signed on to teach her because that’s what she does. besides, emma had similar problems with monet but that still didn’t stop her from reaching out to her.
