Speaking of music, Michael can def be a perfectionist in the studio but not to a crazy degree. He knows when something has reached its full potential and he's not gonna keep meticulously editing and fiddling unnecessarily. He will be precise and adamant about what he wants and he will work to achieve whatever goals he has but he also knows when you can't force something.

sometimes I think of Michael cutting a bit loose for one album with his band. Instead of the usual heavy industrial rock with moody af lyrics, they do a hair metal album and then go back to their old sound like nothing happened.

She was the shining light in such a grim place. He mirrored her smile as she came down the stairs, a laugh escaped him as she confessed she often forgot her own birthday. "Good thing I remember it for you." He returned the hug, squeezing her affectionately as he gave her a kiss on the top of her head. Maybe one day she wouldn't be confined to here.

He snorted gently. "You're both older and younger simultaneously." Logic need not apply to their unique circumstances. The excitement in her voice and eyes were palatable, already she was snooping like a kid on christmas eve. "You couldn't wait for me to give it to you, could you?" he said, his voice warm with humour.

Inside the bag were a few cds of her favourite bands, one vinyl, some new clothes, and a scented candle, alongside a book or two. It was a fair sized bag after all, but she was stuck in this place, unable to get things herself. So perhaps he was overcompensating for her sake.

she  couldn't  help,  but  giggle  at  michael's  words,  smiling  endlessly.  ❛  honestly  ?  no  point,  not  getting  any  older,  anyway  !  ❜  she  joked,  feeling  so  carefree  and  herself  whenever  her  brother  came  around  to  visit.  ❛  but,  i  like  knowing  you'll  always  come  see  me,  mom  misses  you,  ❜  she  told  him,  smile  still  present  on  her  face,  but  a  twinge  of  sadness  gleamed  in  her  emerald  eyes.  they  both  missed  michael,  but  she  could  tell  mom  felt  half-empty  with  @hellisheir  not  around  and  maybe  even  felt  guilty  with  everything  that  happened,  that  she  couldn't  be  there  for  him  in  the  real  world.  a  sister  misses  her  brother,  but  nothing  compared  to  a  mother  missing  her  son.

❛  i'm  never  going  to  say  no  to  gifts.  it's  like  i  can  go  out  and  get  whatever  i  wanted,  ❜  she  shrugged  and  took  it  upon  herself  to  dig  through  the  tissue  paper  to  unveil  the  true  gift  underneath.  she  carefully  takes  out  cds,  a  beautiful  vinyl,  and  everything  she's  ever  wanted!  the  excitement  beamed  within  her  eyes  and  her  body  shook.  eyes  widened,  ❛  it's  like  you're  in  my  brain,  brother,  ❜  she  complimented,  laughing  and  admiring  the  grungy  articles  of  clothing  and  books  she's  ready  to  dive  in  right  here  and  right  now.  ❛  are  you  kidding  ?  i  love  it.  i've  been  needing  to  read  something  new  and  not  these  weird  old-timey  books  that  the  others  have  around  here.  this  is  the  shit,  ❜  she  told  him,  holding  up  the  two  mystery  books  with  a  grin  on  her  face.  ❛  you  didn't  have  to  do  all  this,  you  know.  i  would've  just  taken  the  vinyl,  ❜  she  joked,  smirking.

"Careful now, if you smile any harder, you may become stuck that way." It did warm him to see her so elated. The house was a miserable place and he couldn't think of a worse environment to be tethered to. Any little thing he could do to bring her joy was worth it.

He laughed. "Maybe I am, just spying on your dreams to see what birthday presents I should buy you." Old timey books. He gave a slight shake of the head. "You know they are called classics for a reason, perhaps you should read them sometime." Michael brushed a few strands of hair from her face, maybe he should've gotten her some clips but she seemed to prefer her hair free.

And maybe one day her spirit would be as free as her locks. "Violet, I would give you the entire universe alongside heaven and hell if I could." There was however a slight pause. "But could you handle all the responsibility? I mean it is a lot of boring paperwork."

"Certainly." He scooped her up into his arms, carrying her off to the bed before setting her down. His lips pressed against hers, head tilting slightly as he savoured her soft flesh. She was so playful and forward, a rather attractive combination in his opinion.

His nose pressed against hers as he stared into her eyes, his fingers brushing any stray strands of hair from her face. "Is there any particular way you wish to begin?"

+ The minute she felt herself SWEPT off her feet, Mary Jane had absolutely no hope of WIPING the smile off of her face . Even as she lost herself in the KISS, somehow, flashes of it remained . Wrapping her arms around his neck, she teased his lips with her tongue, resulting in a low chuckle that filled the space after it .

As she looked up at him, there was no denying the heat burrowed into her cheeks now . " I think maybe I'm a little OVER-DRESSED for the occasion, don't you think ? "

The slightest of smiles curved his lips, their foreheads still touching. The tongue caught him off guard but it was welcomed nonetheless. "Perhaps, though there's nothing wrong with having as much or as little clothing as you'd like." His hand squeezed her thigh, his tone as suggestive as ever. Slowly he began to remove her shirt before pressing his lips against hers once more. "You really are the jackpot, Mary-Jane."
