Beauty or Be what you see
Girls everywhere hear constantly how beautiful they are. Whether it's from family, friends or complete strangers you meet through work or social events. They may hear it three, four, maybe five times a day. But how does a girl so beautiful, take compliments when she is so broken inside? From physical, mental, even emotional abuse. Whatever the case may be, they don't feel beautiful. So how does such a goddess get her inner beauty back when it's been transformed into such darkness she can't even see whom she is anymore? She may have a smile on her face at all times but don't assume she's truly happy. Beauty doesn't have the same meaning it use to. Society's idea of beauty is whomever got the cover of Vogue. Inner beauty doesn't exist anymore or atleast people don't see it. Not only do they not see it, they don't embrace it. When someone says "wow you're so beautiful" they're referring to your outward appearance. They have no idea what kind of person you are on the inside. So again, how does one who is broken and full of such darkness take a compliment and actually believe it ? Leave your thoughts.
