(This is an example of a heartwarming letter that I translated in 2013. The details make all the difference. Some changes were made for privacy.) Please email me your letter to [email protected]. I will let you know if I can translate it as soon as possible. January 20, 2013 Dear Park Minjae's birthmother, Look at this beautiful little boy! Minjae is fabulous! He is in pre-school and learning a lot! He recognizes the entire alphabet and says most of it out loud. He can count to 10. He can count up to four objects at a time. He recognizes many shapes: circle, square, triangle, rectangle, oval, star, and heart. He knows many colors: red, blue, green, yellow, orange, purple, brown, black, pink, and gray. * Minjae loves the color blue! Minjae loves to play outside! Also, he loves story time! He loves being read to! He likes to make up stories while looking at the pictures! Minjae's favorite game is "hide and go seek." We are working on Minjae's writing. He is working on tracing and copying his first name using upper case letters! Minjae loves spending time with his daddy. He takes very good care of him! He sings to him every night. The song "Jack and Jill" is his favorite song. Minjae sings with him. He says "I LOVE YOU, DADDY." They also go grocery shopping together! Very fun! Minjae is very close to his older brother. He wants to do everything he does, whether it is playing soccer, football, basketball, or biking. He also wants to do it. He is so determined! They cuddle, laugh, argue, and cuddle some more. When his brother is doing homework, Minjae wants to do homework. So I give him something to do...draw a picture, work on a puzzle, etc. Every night the kids hug each other and tell each other that they love each other! Special. I love Minjae very much. We are so close. We are together all the time. We read, sing, hug, and play together constantly. We love to laugh. We hold hands. He has long, delicate fingers. Minjae loves eating noodles, soup, and rice. He is learning how to use chopsticks. Thank you for everything. We pray for you every night!! Minjae says, "I was born in Korea!" I say, "Yes, isn't it wonderful!!" Peace be with you, Minjae's adoptive mother
