Technicolor // Hearts

Technicolor Hearts is an art project for lovers, a discourse between friends, an interactive expression of memories, feelings, sadness, happiness and a celebration of life. Born on a cold evening in December of 2010 the duo combines elements of dreamy psych pop woven in with arts and crafts rock, orchestral and synth layering, raw folk and storybook rhyme.

Happy April friends! The world is abuzz with honey bees, blossoms in the trees and the power of flowers and we hope you are soaking up all that springtime has to offer. On this radiant sunny day we have a brand new music video to share with you that's filled with cut and paste technicolor dreams of dancing sunflowers, flickering geometrics and a soft and colorful explosion of psychedelia. Tonight we'll be performing with one of our favorite artists Emily Wells at Stubb's. Doors are at 9 and we play at 9:30. Naomi has lost her voice due to allergies so we may or may not be doing some weird/fun/experimental/one time only versions of our songs. We want to thank everyone who came out to see us during free week. It was a really fun time getting to be a part of these shows with some bands we really love and share our music with you at our first two shows of the year. 2015 came and went in a flash. In the early part of the year we were tucked away in our home studio finishing up our EP "Now We're Here." In the spring we planned a huge EP release party with a string section and lots of our favorite Austin bands, released a music video for "Who You Are" and ventured on the epic and unforgettable "Marfa Cosmic Caravan" with tons of friends and family. In May we lost our long time abode, narrowed down Earthly possessions and set out for summer and fall tour adventures up the west coast. These past few months we've been conjuring up new video projects, working on new recordings and touring around the great state of Texas. In between all that, we've laughed, cried, lost and loved a bunch in this strange and awesome, sad and glorious place we call life. Thanks to all who came from far and wide to attend our shows, made us smile and took part in the music. Eager to share new sounds and art in the coming year!!

Unfortunately we have to postpone our house concert scheduled for this weekend in Austin, but we do have two #freeweek shows to announce! The details for the first one we can share today. We will be opening for our friends @holidaymountainmusic at @lambertsbbq on January 7th at this @c3concerts party. This is going to be a fun one so we hope you won't miss it. It's 21 and up only and FREE!!! We'll announce our second free week show tomorrow!

We are happy to announce our final tour dates for 2015. In the first weekend of December, we will be returning to McAllen plus visiting Brownsville for the very first time. Then we will be performing at a series of house concerts with our friend @ladylazintheory. The Beaumont show will be held at the @victoriahousetx. For details about the Austin and Houston shows, get in touch with us!
