"Vivzie never takes criticism," WRONG! Vivzie doesn't take YOUR criticism because it isn't criticism. Imagine if every single thing that you've ever drawn just gets consistently criticized, even when you believe that you've come a long way. Yes, there's always room for improvement, but not everyone wants to hear criticism all the time! Sometimes you just wanna be happy with what you have at the moment.

If all you have for someone, especially artists, is nothing but negativity or criticism without even telling them what they're doing right, then don't be shocked if they stop coming to you. If that person continues to listen to you, they're no longer drawing to better themselves. THEY'RE DRAWING TO APPEASE YOU! As long as YOU like it, then that artist must mean they're doing something right. You're not qualified to critique anything, if you take away the individuality of the artist.

"Well, I went to college-" good for you, so did Vivzie. Besides, people can graduate college with low GPAs in college. Also, just because you graduated college, doesn't mean you're an expert. You may know more than the average person, but I still wouldn't exactly trust you more than anyone else. And college doesn't exactly make you Yoda. You still are learning and growing, let HER do the same.

I'm sorry for the random rant. It's just something I needed to get off of my chest. Last thing, Vivzie does listen to criticism, like her characters being overly detailed and you can see them becoming simpler in the redesigns. The problem is that Vivzie isn't listening TO YOU, specifically, and it's a damn good thing that she isn't.

Also, Viv never even did those things. Nobody forced Erin to work 3 jobs and she left casually without a fight. Alan's workers were never even credited, barely paid, and, allegedly, had to sleep in their offices. They got fans getting angry at them saying they should be grateful because Alan was feeding them and giving them a place to sleep. Like....the hell???

The most that Vivzie has been proven to do was talk shit about someone in private. And that's not even a bad thing. Regardless of what that person did to her, she's....allowed to do that?? Viv shouldve delayed the Hazbin pilot to add more Chaggie moments instead of those little moments

......You do realize that would mean that they would have to storyboard, voice record, animate, and composite all of that....just for a few scenes, right? That would probably take another year and for what? Just so you can feel like Chaggie is done "properly"? Chaggie was not the point of the Pilot.

Adding more of these scenes would add nothing and make it more bloated, especially since it doesn't affect the actual hotel anyway. It's not like Charlie would stop with her dream just because her and Vaggie aren't making out lol

Personally, I love the fact that Vivzie just makes the two comfortable with one another. Plus, maybe there will be more moments when the show is actually out.

I think less people would be complaining about Stella's characterization in the recent episode if we had more than two scenes in the first season. Not to say that anyone is Justified in misinterpreting her characterization, they're still idiots, but I feel like some additional scenes of her being horrible would have given less room for misinterpretation. Plus, it's fun to watch her being horrible, so it couldn't have hurt hurt.

We did have more than two scenes though? We had two scenes Loo Loo Land, the ending of Harvest Moon Festival, and multiple scenes from The Circus. You need more proof of her being an abuser? Her flat-out telling Stolas that she loves tormenting him about what he did is easy to misinterpret to you? Was hiring a hitman level-headed to you? Alright. Couldn't be me though.

I was specifically referring to season 1. I thought that was obvious. I did forget about the scene when Octavia was a kid, but she doesn't really do much in that scene so you can't blame me.

Can I say that it's weird how many hazbin critical blogs there are for a show that hasn't even started yet? Like the pilot is out, but these people analyze the pilot like it's the whole show and there's not more development waiting to happen. There's "this character is unlikable", "this character needed to be developed more", "the plot has to be changed so this can work", "why Charlie isn't a good friend to Vaggie", etc. and I'm sitting here like "You got all this from a pilot and two comics?"

Dude, if you create a critical blog for something that has not released, you gotta work with what you got. Even if it means regurgitating bullshit that doesn't make sense over and over again. Give them a cookie, they're trying x3

I had a dream about the Hazbin Hotel trailer.

In my dream, I had just woken up. I checked my phone and saw that there was a trailer for hazbin hotel, and I started watching it.

It was 3D animated, and it looked like a high budget animated movie. It started off at a restaurant in the living world, but for some reason everyone was an anthropomorphic animal. A white handball bounced on a bunch of characters heads and knocked them out. I assumed that they died but I wasn't sure.

We then see alastor sitting at a table. He has his demon design even though this takes place in the living world. It then randomly switches to 2D. I think someone was playing a piano, but I don't remember for sure, and I'm not sure if it was Alastor or an extra. I do know that the piano was there and it was on a stage. We then see another guy who looks like a normal human, and I don't exactly remember what happened. What I do remember is that while this was happening, I thought that there was no way that this could be the actual trailer and I was still dreaming, so I tried to influence the events of the trailer but it just kept playing as normal, leading me to wonder if maybe it actually was the Real trailer.

Alastor and the other guy then pointed long black rifles at each other, and I don't remember if Alastor got shot or not. I don't know if there was a scene after this or not. We then see angel dust and hear his new voice. It's lower pitched, and for some reason he has a French accent, although I didn't realize the accent was French until I woke up. Then some text pops up saying that he was voiced by a guy called Xena Lana. I kept watching for a bit and then paused it, thinking again that there's no way that this could be real and that it had to be a dream. I closed my eyes and woke myself up, and sure enough, I had been dreaming.

This is what waiting so long does to people's brains. Sorry if this is stupid, but I just had to post about this.

Charlie's design was hit with the incredibly strange obsession Viv has with the colour red. Tho it's not like it wasn't a problem originally. I mean, c'mon, colour theory exists for a reason. Put some green with the red or blue, violet, anything, just make them complement each other. It's not hard to look at a colour wheel

The issue is that the overuse of red on the main cast wouldn’t be an issue if Hell’s background was shades of green or blue instead of red like you said. Using a different color, more specifically a compliment color then the over excessive amount of red Vivzie slaps on everything would allow the characters to actually stand out from the background and also give a good contrast so not only the background, but the characters are more notable and pop because they work well together.

Also I’ve seen other people point this out but having Charlie conform to the excessive amount of red seen in the rest of the cast strips her of her originality and she doesn’t stand out from the cast as much as she did before. So many people have already said her outfit looks more like what Alastor is wearing in the pilot which shouldn’t be a good thing. You want your main character to standout from the rest of your cast, not look exactly the same as everyone else.

You have no room to speak about color theory when you don't know what an analogous or monochromatic color palette is. Also, anyone who actually understands color theory will tell you that brightness is more important for distinguishing visual details than hue.
