"This is so fantastic," she squealed a little bit and smiled wholeheartedly. Nami. Caleb. Callie. All Carters. A family. Caleb's mom. It felt so much better to know she could have all this. "I know," she laughed and kissed his nose. Then she kissed his cheek. Then she kissed him. "That sounds like a plan."

"It will be everything we never dreamed about but always wanted." He spoke more to himself about it, he had never dreamed about it because he never thought it was possible but here it was making itself visible and available. "Good." He smiled brightly at all of her kisses before nodding at her, "I should get going are you going to be okay without me for a few days?"

"Signing those adoption papers will be the best feeling," she murmurs as his hands run through her hair. This is exactly what she wanted to hear. Since she knew it was true, it made it all worth the while. "Nobody else loves me more than you do. I mean, my sister could protest. Psh. Yuna," she giggled. "I know. You'll have to tell me where we're going so I know what to do.. Travel wise."

"Yes they will and since we are getting married both of us get to sign it, she'll be ours." He smiled he loved having her like this and getting to have it everyday felt even better then he imagined. He never would have guessed this would happen but damn did he feel good about it. "Well she has to love you I don't, since she's your sister and all." He smiled winking clearly joking with her. "I'll leave you a note so you know what to do or better yet I'll leave a plane ticket for you."

"You.. Me.. And Nami? If she comes?" she pressed her forehead against his and smiled. Tears were still coming but not as much as they were earlier. She felt so much better now that she knew they would be together. "Please do. And I'll do the same."Calhoun nodded at his suggestion. "Yes. That's good. I must... ask Tina and Yuna to be my bridesmaids. They're the only ones who care anything about me anyway here. And Meeko."

"She'll come I can feel it so yes it will be me you and Nami for a little bit until we have one of our own." He chuckled running his free hand through her hair as it rested against his. He was very worried when he first brought it up that she would stay here but having her join him was all he needed from anyone really, "Of course I will who else would do it besides me? Seeing as I love you that much." He sighed in a happy content, "Do as you must, I'm just glad that its with me."

"I just... I didn't either," Calhoun's mind was racing. She didn't think that this would happen to her. Her life from now on out? It was going to be so much better than what it used to be, than it was now. "I know," he made her feel worth something. It was amazing. "We should pack up. Yeah?"

"Don't worry Love I'll be here to help you every step of the way." He smiled kissing her hand before intertwining their fingers and holding her hand tightly, letting the ring reflect the light. "AS long as you know, but I'm going to keep reminding you." He smiled nodding, "I'll call some people make sure to pack things you want to keep here for the next few days first though so they dont take it."

Calhoun nodded. "I've wanted to get married and have a family. I just didn't think... not here. It's dangerous. But now that we're leaving.. Yes," she laughed and nuzzled into his hand as he wiped her tears. After he said he liked it too, she giggled a little and pressed a kiss to his lips, wrapping her arms around him as well. "You always do everything right. I love you. I love you so, so much," Calhoun laid her head on his shoulder. "I'm going to need a day or two to say my goodbyes.."

Caleb smiled softly thinking about it, "I didn't think I deserved it, after my past and how I grew up but with you anything is possible so this is nothing but a challenge we are facing together." He chuckled as she nuzzled into his hand causing him to bite his lip, kissing her back his arms instinctively wrapped around her tightly holding her close to him, "I love you so much too, nothing could ever change that." He nodded, "Of course I have to leave right away but as long as you are joining me I can do it."

Nami could only think that a conversation like this would be easier for people that are older than her. She was still trying to take in the fact that she was going to have to move like she did with her father. “So if you become my daddy I can’t call you Cal no more?” She let out a sigh as she thought. “I want you to be my daddy, Cal.” There was only one thing that concerned her and it was meeting his mother. “She will like me?”

Of course if Nami was older this would be easier and he wouldn't have to explain it in a hundered different ways but thats what he loved about her she asked questions and actually thought. It was something he wanted her to keep doing as she got older. He chuckled softly poking her cheek, "You could still call me Cal but everyone would think and call me your daddy but I don't mind you calling me Cal at all." He smiled kissing her cheek softly, "My mom is very kind and she will love you just like Callie and I do, she'd become your grandma."

"I'm surprised to hear me say it, too," she commented softly through a laugh. Calhoun couldn't help the tears, but they were coming. "Yes," she laughed, "Of course I will. Calhoun Carter has... The most loveliest of rings to it." She pouted. "We're gonna have a family," Kove said in disbelief. Never, she thought she would never have that. "I'm so... So... Happy."

"I am glad that I could make you feel that way though, wanting to have a family with someone is not a light matter." He reached up brushing away her teats and kissing her cheek softly his heart hammering away in his chest as she said yes, "Callie Carter I really like it has a nice ring to it, yes it does." He smiled thinking about it as well he never would have thought to have a family either but Callie brought out the best in him and he kenw he wouldnt be his father. "Good then I did something write."

"Yeah. I do," she nodded, still crying, and sniffled a little bit. Her green eyes wandered down to the ring still in his hand and she half smiled. "You really want to marry me?" Calhoun still couldn't believe it. She threw her arms around him. She couldn't help but smile and cry at the same time. "I still have to get my... my tracker removed..." she said quietly. "I want Nami to go."

"I..I'm not going to lie I am a little surprised but beyond glad to hear you say it." He smiled watching her eyes travel down to the ring he took it out of the box and slipped it onto her left hand ring finger. "Calhoun Kove will you marry me? Making me the happiest guy in the world?" He asked her softly smiling brightly. Hugging her back he rubbed her softly, "That we can do and it wont be hard not at all we have been through worse. I think she will."

It had come to Nami’s attention the person she was close with before wasn’t coming back and her father… well she couldn’t tell anyone where he was because she didn’t know. Caleb was the only one who was close with her. She smiled brightly and shook her head. ” I don’t know!” She let out with a laugh. “Where are we going to go? And we have to pack my things too?”

Caleb hoped she understood and he wanted to ask her one more thing and hoped.prayed she'd say yes, when she smiled and shook her head he laughed lightly, "Then would it be alright with you if I adopt you? That means I'd be your real dad not just Cal." He wanted her to understand and had to make sure she understood carefully. "My mom needs some help and she lives in a big house so we'd stay with her for a while and we would but that wouldn't be too hard."

I didn't write this to Caleb because while he's amazing, he's not you. 

I didn't think it would be this hard.

Nami let Caleb pick her up, like always her head went to his shoulder where she rested against him. She didn’t understand at first, having to take apart the fact that leaving didn’t mean for a little while this time. “You want me to come?” Nami had to think about this, she didn’t have many people here to hold onto that meant as much as Caleb did. “We can take my fishes can’t we? I can not lead Richard and Jennifer alone.”

Caleb loved how much she trusted him and how easily it was for her to just relax against his body, she was his daughter no matter what other people said her and Namine would always be. "Of course I want you to come how could I leave my little squirt behind?" He wanted her to say she would come he'd adopt her they could really become a family Callie was going to be his wife why not add Nami to that? He chuckled softly leaning his head against hers. "I'd love to bring your fishes along it would be lonely without them."

A ragged breath left her lips. No one here would miss her anyway. Maybe Yuna would convince Nami to stay with her. She would be in better hands that way than being alone. The tears were like rainfall, scattering on her cheeks and down onto her blue jeans. And then she thought about Yuna. Poor Yuna. That was her sister. What would she do? "Yes. Yes," her voice cracked and broke in a million different ways. She couldn't leave him. "I'll go with you. I'll marry you... and... we--we can have kids of our own..." she put her hand over her mouth and then lowered herself down to the floor, fixing the collar of Caleb's shirt. "Nami..."

Caleb would talk to Nami see if she would leave with them but he needed Callie there was no other women for him just her. Nami was like a daughter to him and he'd keep her if he could. Not many people would miss him anyways either so this was simple and easy for him to do. When she said yes he couldn't help but smile that was what he wanted her and only her, to be his forever more. "You want to have kids with me?" He asked quietly not sure if he heard her right. "I'll talk to her maybe she'll come with us."

Nami found Cal back which made her smile more than anything but there was something off there was no need for the smartest man to see that. She walked up to him with a tilted head. “What is it you gots to tell me, cal?”

He picked her up holding her against his chest the moment she walked up to him, god if only he could adopt her, would she let him? he didn't know. "I got a very important call and I need to leave the circus...I have a very important question to ask you...would you come with me?"

He was leaving. A massive hole dug itself into her chest again. Tears instantly started to fall and she whimpered. "What about Nami? I can't leave her here. She needs you. She needs us," Calhoun looked him in the eye. She loved him with everything she had. And she would go. She'd do that because he asked. "I love you. Nami.. I love her. I don't want to choose." A snag in her breath came at the marriage statement. "You want to marry me? Please don't leave me."

He didn't want to leave her or Nami he wanted to take both of them but Nami wasn't his to take sadly enough. He rubbed the back of his neck a sign that he was losing the will to tell her no but he had to do this his mom needed him. "I know she does and if I could take her I would but she isn't my daughter I couldn't take her from here without adopting her and I dont think she wants that." His heart broke he didn't want to make her chose...he couldn't that wasn't right but he needed her, "I do want to marry you I want to spend the rest of my life with you...I even bought a ring while I was away." He pulled it out showing her the ring, "I wont make you chose but I have to go home...she needs me, My father was the worker in the family. she'll die without me."

The look on his face was going to kill her. She was nervous, sitting on the edge of the bed and looking up at him, wringing her hands. Was he leaving her? Did she do something wrong? Calhoun tucked one of her long strands of curled red hair behind her ear. She looks down and lets her eyes wander the carpet. “Uhm… Go ahead, love.”

He automatically took her hands kneeling underneath her smiling at her, "Come with me..." He spoke softly, "My mom called the bastard died but now she needs me home, I don't want to leave you please come with me? I love you so much...I want to marry you but I don't want to do that to you she needs me."

Caleb had finally gotten the call he had been waiting for so long his mom called saying his father had finally passed on and he could come home and she needed him to come home. But he needed to say goodbye to some people because he knew there was just no coming back anymore not to this place if anything he'd take his girls with him. Namine was going home to the islands and he'd keep in contact with her, but Callie and Nami were another story. "I...I need to tell you something."

Caleb didnt have time to tell anyone where he was going but left a note behind for Calhoun and Nami to tell them his mom called saying his dad had finally down and drunk himself to death and that she needed hi to come home for a little while. It was all he needed his mom was safe and that bastard was finally dead. He couldn't have been more happy about the news. Honestly some people would probably call him heartless for laughing about it and being happy, because no matter what that man was still his father but to him his father died once he started drinking and hitting things including Caleb. There was nothing in the world he could have been more excited to hear about and to finally be able to go home and see his mother was great news and he was very happy to do it if he was being completely honest about the whole thing. Picking his duffle bag off the floor making sure the note was visible to both girls then he set out for his car to go back home and be reunited with his mom.
