Just finished reading Dark Temptations and it was so good! Very spicy and some interesting lore and characters to build up on! Will it ever be continued? No rush, just asking if it will.

Hey, I'm so glad you're enjoying the fic and thank you for the ask!! It's been almost a decade since I last got one!

Yes! I do plan on continuing! I keep on chipping away at it every now and again, and have 7 or 8 more chapters planned out and a couple of them almost fully written, but to avoid potentially going on another huge hiatus, I want to get them all finished before I start posting again!

I've got some other fics I need to finish up first, but I'm hoping I'll have it at least written and ready to post by the end of the year!

The Things We Carry With Us (10849 words) by Acewithapaintbrush Chapters: 1/1 Fandom: Helluva Boss (Web Series) Summary: “Come on Stols, let’s go home. I need a fucking shower.”

“Home.” Stolas repeats and there is something dark there, under that one word. Something that makes Blitzø pause. He takes a closer look at his bird and notices the ruffled feathers and the narrowed eyes. And then he sees his own phone sitting dead and still next to the bony elbow and he knows exactly what happened. He usually doesn’t like leaving Stolas alone with his phone because the owl will try to call Via over and over and over again until the battery runs out and then they are all left with… this. “What home?”

‘Ours’ sits on the top of Blitzø’s tongue but he knows better than to voice it.

So he says “The apartment” instead and watches as Stolas grows even more tense. * Blitzø has made it a habit to bring Stolas a human souvenir everytime he goes out on a job. This time it's something called a jigsaw puzzle. Stolas seems to know what that is and while the concept sounds boring and tedious to Blitzø, he keeps finding himself at that table with his bird, trying to put the pieces back together. In more ways than one.

Summary: Long ago, the Goetia, a mysterious group of magic wielders, sequestered themselves in a walled city, their knowledge of the outside world dwindling to stories found in the library. Stolas, who wields the gift of prophecy and the ability to manipulate fate, is devastated when he learns of an ominous prophecy tied to his beloved daughter, Octavia. Determined to change her fate, Stolas escapes the guarded city walls with little Octavia into the outside world ruled by ruthless Imps. But Stolas could never have imagined what would happen when Prince Blitzø's military leaders, Generals Moxxie and Millie, and Captain Striker, stumbled upon him and his sweet owlet.

This bit of prose hit my brain so hard it created a fever dream of a road-trip metaphor so here you go! I was going to fully line and clean this, but the further I got the more I felt the sketchiness suited the vibe I was going for, so enjoy the mess!

You made it to the end so now I ramble!

I am not a comic artist. And the thing about comics is, if you aren't accustomed to the process of laying out panels in an effective way, it is extremely tough to tackle. So for anyone wondering 'why didn't you just make it a proper comic, it'd be less space!' I hear you and you're right, but my illustrator brain simply did not have the energy 😅 But overall, I loved making this! It's always so fun to have little projects to chip away at and this made me eager to sit down everyday and work on it.
