A virus?!

A fucking virus Something to get rid of A parasite... completely reliant on hijacking a host cell … reliant…… "Still so reliant on those around you.""But you still rely on others for your power, like always."

Fuck I'm a fucking- Only a matter of time until they want to get rid of me too...

Time to yap a bit because thanks to this #VoxWeek2026 prompt I noticed how genius it is that Vox's full demon form is a virus. Apart from the whole computer virus thing XD

One of Vox's best qualities is that he is able to direct the abilities of others quite well and navigate them. Which actually makes him quite the great leader. He can manipulate others and then use them as a recourse for his own plans. It also appears that Vox's strength is directly tied to his approval ratings aka to the opinion other have of him. Alastor claims multiple times that Vox's power is due to him relying on other people. And he is right.

Vox is similar reliant on the people around him to grow his power like a virus is reliant on a host cell. A virus can only reproduce by hijacking another cell and using its machinery. So you could say that a virus can only increase its influence by manipulation- by 'hypnotizing' another cell and then using that cells abilities. Without the host the virus is basically nothing... it can't reproduce and therefore it can't 'grow' its power. And without a host it also can't exist for a long long period of time...

And now Vox is isolated and the trust in him is broken. He can't 'infect' others with his ideas anymore. So... How long will he be able to survive like this?

Vox lost almost everything. His company. His approval ratings. And his body. We already know that there is a 'dark' Vox song coming in season 3 and I honestly can't wait for it XD

I also wonder if Vox will get a redemption arc. He was apparently 'humbled' now. And the question from s2e3 "Do you think I could be redeemed?" kinda hints at this potentially happening.

While most people consider viruses to be nasty parasites that make us ill and we have to get rid off, they are in fact an important part of supporting life on earth. We would actually be done without viruses.

So in the same way how Vox has his bad - almost irredeemable - sides, he also has his good qualities. It just depends on how he uses them. I really can't wait to see where his story will go XD

Day 4 of #VoxWeek2026: Past

Becoming an Overlord is not an easy feat. It takes years working yourself up the ranks. Rome wasn’t built in a day after all.

I see box Vox so often drawn as a cutie but that’s why I thought I go the opposite route XD Despite box Vox being cute he was still a serial killer who managed to become an Overlord in hell. We should never forget that as a fandom XD

The top page of the VoxTek note block easily losen. Both the first page and the current one fell off. The block wasn’t able to withstand the might of Vox apparently XD

Are there other ppl using the block? I still got an issue with the pen not properly functioning on the paper.

Day 1 of daily Vox since Hell's Hottest Anni

Also day 3 of VoxWeek2026 XD Gonna try to do the other prompts too but I missed the first two days already XD

This is my first time drawing box Vox XD I feel like the boxy head makes him so cute instantly.

I used a pencil for sketching and then the VoxTek pen to finalise the drawing. Sometimes I struggled a bit with the pen bc it didn’t always draw lines. I might swap back to the bullet pen I usually use if the problem persists. Otherwise I love the VoxTek pen✨
