Echeveria “NOBARANOSEI” ( E,Alienor )
My nursery-bought Lithops bloomed this year!
These pics were taken over the span of exactly one week.
Hawthornia. Grew like crazy in spring. Not as translucent as photos I’ve seen. Any tips to keep it in tip top shape?
________________________________________________________ Hello! That haworthia is in amazing health! Some varieties are more translucent than others. I would continue what you are doing since again it’s in great health. The only other suggestion I can offer is some haworthias brown in too much light so keep an eye out for that. Hope this helps.
My barrel cactus is looking pale and shrively around the bottom. Tell me, wise plant sage, why is he sad?
________________________________________________________ Hello! That’s how my barrel cactus looks at the bottom and I’ve had it for years, as those lower portions age sometimes they shrivel. I would however get a pencil of brush and lightly tap that portion of the cactus to make sure it’s not squishy because that would be a sign of rot. If it is very squishy and you see a increase in discoloration you will need to cut what is viable of the cactus. Hopefully it’s not rot and just age or some minor dehydration. Hope this helps.
I have a jade plant that has leaves getting wilty and translucent and they'll eventually pop off. Any ideas why? Not sure if I'm underwatering or over. It's still growing new leaves.
Sounds like over watering to me, if you would like submit a picture so I can verify.
I was checking on my succulents this morning and I noticed that one of them has what looks like mold growing on the bottom of the pot and into the soil. The succulent seems healthy but how should I get rid of the mold
Would you mind submitting a picture? If it’s mold usually the best thing is soap or bleach however it’s tricky because you don’t want to get soap or bleach into the soil.
If I submitted some pictures, would you be so kind to identify the suc baby for me? Totally okay to say no, fyi. Love the blog ❤
I’m not too good at succulent identification but I would love to try and help!
Echeveria shaviana ‘Pink Frills’
Hi! I'm interested in buying a plant but I was wondering how far away would you recommend ordering them? I live in Michigan and I trust your packaging skills but not the post company. In just worried about the plants being unhealthy when they arrive. Would I be ok? Also, how do you even package the plants? Thanks!
Hello! I have had very good luck with the packaging company thus far with every package reaching the customer within 2 days. Even in Michigan they will reach you within that time. You can place you order whenever you like and your order will ship on a Monday to ensure it gets to you promptly :) My plants are extremely well packaged to ensure even rough handling wont destroy plants. Plants are thoroughly wrapped with tissue and protected with newspaper and cardboard. Hope this helps :D
