the easiest way to improve your grades is to make studying rather tolerable. take neat notes with pretty colours which you enjoy looking at, write with your favourite pen and acknowledge the fact that you are learning so much step by step

types of people, hogwarts houses

gryffindor: does things purely out of spite, late night bonfires, dancing to their favourite music at 3am, stands up for what they believe in, either gives their all or nothing no in between, the feeling of waking up from the first summer rays on summer mornings, vanilla candles, they can’t stand injustice, will be down for literally anything

hufflepuff: dimly-lit candles in a room at 2am, they probably got some sort of obsession with plants and flowers, very witty and has a sharp tongue, the feeling of adrenaline flowing in you during those snowball fights when you were younger, will do what it takes to reach their goal, very understanding and aren’t the types to judge you

ravenclaw: extremely chaotic, they love and are very interested in fashion, they excel at street smarts, fuzzy socks, open minded and are able to see both sides of an argument, cunning, they probably fantasize about being in a zombie apocalypse, pretend to hate romance but secretly it is what they crave, oversized sweaters

slytherin: probably had some kind of obsession with any kind of mythology, often feel misunderstood so they try to understand others and themselves through things such as astrology and mbti, they feel at peace in nature, vintage clothing items, seem intimidating, emotionally intelligent, tend to keep their circle small, interested in poetry

i think if we stopped having such high expectations for the “ideal” teenage years and perfect friend groups, a lot of us would feel better about our teenage years not being that spectacular. let’s stop acting like the only time you will be able to truly enjoy life, are those teenage years where in reality you spend years hating and doubting yourself over things that aren’t even worthy hating yourself for.
