Antron Singleton aka Big Lurch was a rapper in the LA underground scene, but his music isn’t what he’ll be remembered for. Lurch used PCP to ease the pain of injuries from an accident and continued the abuse until April 2002 when his addiction took a shockingly gruesome turn. He stabbed his roommate, Tynisha Ysais, ripped open her chest and ate her organs. His stomach contained pieces of her flesh torn with his teeth, leaving bite marks on her lungs. Lurch was found naked and bloody. He tried an insanity defense but the DA said drug use is not grounds for insanity. He was convicted of murder and aggravated mayhem and sentenced to life without parole.
