Personality: Arashi is extremely intelligent. He is not only musically inclined, but also versed in several different languages including Japanese, Chinese, English, German, and French, all taught to him while he was living with his three aunts. Arashi has a fight in him that has survived he six years he spent locked away as a slave to his first master. When abused he keeps strong and stays silent, and when verbally attacked he tends to snap back. he does have a fear of knives and sharp items instilled in him from the torture his old master put him through. However, despite this he does keep as strong as he can.
Bio: The Watanabe family had originally been known for their deep elemental roots, the bloodline starting nearly five hundred years back between two elemental beings who loved each other deeply. Born from the pairing of a phoenix female and a young fire elemental samurai, Arashi inherited his mothers phoenix blood. With a natural inclination to music, Arashi spent most days playing whatever he could get a hold of. Arashi’s mother kept him mostly secluded and taught him all he needed to know about controlling his abilities. She was afraid that someone would discover his hybrid background, and so a lot of the boys life was spent locked away in a small room. This life was his first and during this time he was stripped away from his mother by his own father and sold off for money by the age of seventeen, forced soon after into the sex trade, becoming an Oiran. He was owned by a very wealthy man who used the boys beauty to add to his collection of pretty girls and youths to make his money. After being stabbed to death repeatedly by a client, a samurai who wanted his affections and was denied it due to the boy technically being owned, Arashi’s body was dumped off in the woods where he was to start his cycles of rebirths. In his current rebirth Arashi grew up attempting to learn every instrument he could get his hands on, his favorites being the guitar, piano, wooden flute, and violin. While in high school still Arashi found himself getting into some deep trouble after hooking up with a couple of kids whose parents had deep Yakuza roots. After he was told that he had to join the Kumi(Yakuza family) he panicked and told his mother asking for her help on the matter. His adopted wizard mother, Ayumi, did her best to keep him away from all of the danger this could put them in, deciding that she would temporarily take him out of school and keep him home to teach him till those children finally left him be. When that proved useless she moved them, from Kyoto to Tokyo, in hopes to rid them of the gang of boys who seemed obsessed with her son. Arashi didn’t mind the move in all honesty. However, it put a deep strain on his mother who found she had to get two jobs just to keep them alive and a roof over there heads. Using his pretty looks, Arashi moonlighted as a singer at a night club, using skills from his past life to make an extra income so he could help his mother out. When she confronted him about his means of money making he just lied, saying that he was playing his guitar on street corners for the extra cash. Arashi continued to develop fantastically in his music, and of course with his natural abilities the songs he did sing along side his playing attracted a lot of good attention. After a while he stopped going out at night so he could focus on his schooling and music. Proud of her sons great talent, Ayumi put Arashi through all sorts of musical lessons to help him grow in his talents. While walking home one day from school, the young hybrid was snatched up by a group of witches who sold him off into the sex slave trade for some extra cash. Put up on auction, the thirteen year old was bought almost instantly by some perverted vampire. For six years he lived as the vampires slave, giving to him his life and body as was what the man demanded from him. The fight in Arashi never really died, and he found himself always looking for a way out. It took large amounts of drugs most of the time just to keep the boy docile while his master would use his body. The torture became worse as each day passed, and the master began to practice with all sorts of devices on the boy. Cutting him up till he was damn near death before healing him with a bit of his blood and potions. However, Arashi never stopped struggling and even attempted to poison the vampire by drinking vervain tea he’d gotten a hold of from a slave girl willing to help him. Tied to a bed and bleed out for this his master forced the boy to watch as he slaughtered the girl who helped him. In the end his master found he couldn’t handle him. After a while the vampire grew tired of the boys behavior and sold him off at the age of nineteen.
