what’s up homies I’m back, it’s been a long time since I was last here lmao

anyways, what’s new? how’re things? how’s my tumblr 5sosfam? what goes on here now? is anyone else still here?

Hello, I’m Sydney! I’m 23 and have been in the fandom since 2013 I believe? (all I know is I was a freshman in HS at the time and was here before SLSP and self titled came out) I’m finishing up my senior year of college after taking some time off to figure out what the heck I want to do with my life and am hoping to finally graduate in the spring or early summer (dependent on whether or not I’m accepted for a study tour in May). I’ve laid pretty low in the fandom since leaving tumblr, mostly just enjoying their music and going to concerts and of course keeping tabs through twitter and insta. For a brief moment in time I was also on 5sos tiktok and that was a really nice time, but other than that I’ve been pretty uninvolved. 

What can you expect from this blog, you may be asking? Well, I hope to slowly revamp the blog over time. My current plan is to revamp some of the pages from the desktop side of things, change the theme/layout, all that fun stuff. Until I get reacquainted with things, I’ll most likely just be reblogging things. If you know me from before, you’ll know I was active in writing but now that it’s been so long, is that still a thing that we’re doing? (someone please let me know bc we’ve all gotten old lol) If writing is still a thing, I might pick that back up as well but we’ll see! 

Anyways, I’m gonna go now but I’m very happy to be back <3 see y’all around!

Christmas (5SOS preference)

Christmas with Luke would include sleeping in and then waking up to him pressing kisses all over your face; begrudgingly getting out of bed and making breakfast while Luke watched whatever Christmas movie was on TV; spending the whole morning by yourselves before spending the day with family.

Christmas with Michael would include waking up to Michael shaking you awake like a little kid would; once you were out of bed he would all but drag you to the living room to open what gifts were under the tree; you would spend the rest of the day laying in the couch watching Michael play the new video games you got him.

Christmas with Calum would include waking up and seeing Calum looking back at you; throwing on whatever shirt was laying around from the night before and a pair of pajama pants (Calum just in a pair of sweatpants); making breakfast with Calum before opening each other’s gifts; staying in the whole day relaxing, just the two of you.

Christmas with Ashton would include waking up to an empty bed but the aroma of freshly baked cinnamon rolls coming from the kitchen; Ashton would greet you with a peck on the cheek and a plate of breakfast; after you both finished eating, you would get dressed and head over to have Christmas with his family.

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it, happy holidays to all who celebrate other things. It’s been awhile, hope you enjoyed. ~SG

never forget zayn malik thanked his mum and dad for making him ASIAN specifically like, he thanked them for making him brown and making him muslim even though this world hates BOTH of those things and if he had been white, his life probably would have been so much easier and the racism and islamaphobia that has followed him his whole career–his whole LIFE–wouldn’t exist. but he wouldn’t trade that for his culture and his self-identity and that’s so important and we should never forget that.
