   ââItâs a bit quiet tonightâŚâ
Isnât that a good thing?
theâwolverine:
As Logan brought his claws down to slice Joe ankle to anus as he intended to a barrage of gunfire hailed down on Logan. He realised that in his rage, Joe had planned an ambush, and he had been played. He took out as many as he could, blood spraying over him, but after so many tazering and shooting, it eventually became too much. Logan crashed to the ground, with armed men holding him down.
It all happened in such a blur and before Joe knew it, he was covered in blood that wasnât his own, and Logan was pinned down. âWell, well, well. It looks like I can handle whatever I want now, huh?â he said, patting his cheek. Turning his attention to the men who were still alive, he called out, âitâs time to go boys, clean up the mess and lets take the Wolverine in.âÂ
lucascarrigan:
See you around, Hendrix.
You bet your ass you will.
wondermanwilliams:
âLetâs just meet at Headquarters, if that works for you.â
I can definitely meet you there. I gotta go and drop off some paperwork in the morning anyways. Iâll bring you a coffee.
theâwolverine:
This was exactly what he wanted. All the attention on him, distracting him from the S.T.R.I.K.E team that was in various locations, watching, waiting for Joe to give the signal. There really wasnât much left for Joe to do at this point besides get his ass handed to him like Logan had warned and so as Logan charged at him, Joe made a small gesture, the signal that let the team know it was their move next.
theâwolverine:
âShut the fuck up.â
âOoh, the big bad wolf is getting angry!â he laughed, more loudly than he should, but that was part of the plan. Rile him up, corner him, attack. Why am I the bait for this again? He asked himself as he watched Logan come at him. âYou sure you wanna do this here? Someone might see you and that wonât help your cause, now will it?â
theâwolverine:
âKid, you really donât want your ass handed to you, sliced and diced by a guy my age. But if you keep running that mouth of yours? Iâll make sure I send you home to mommy in eight different doggy bags.â
âNow, now, donât you go start running with those sharp claws of yours, Iâm sure someone must have told you at some point not to run with sharp objects but then again...if you trip and fall, itâll make it that much easier for me to take you in so by all means, you can go ahead and try.â
lucascarrigan:
Iâm sorry, I seem to be running late. Guess thatâs a discussion for another day, hm?
You fucker.
theâwolverine:
âSome matters? That what you nutbags are calling it? Look, Iâm a reasonable guy, if you can take me down, you can handle whatever you want.â
âDo you really mean that? Because I want your vocal consent on that on my phone so you canât take it back later and say you didnât say it because one way or another, this meeting isnât going to end until you come with me. Whether itâs willingly or me dragging your ass.â
wondermanwilliams:
âTomorrow morning. Â Seven-thirty sharp. Â Shouldnât take us more than three hours to get done once we get there. Â Itâs about an hourâs drive out.â
Alright, got it. Where do you want me to meet you?
theâwolverine:
hendrixjoseph
âBub, if youâre here to flash a badge and start trouble, I gotta warn ya, Iâm wavering that right to remain silent.â
âOh, you can remain silent, thatâs not a problem for me. I just need you to come with me quietly so we can...handle some matters.â
lucascarrigan:
Iâm confident in my skills.Â
Not that I can recall. Wait⌠yeah, I think there mightâve been one.Â
Well, at least someone is.
Donât leave me hanging, what was it?
wondermanwilliams:
âWeâve got to go comb through the leftovers of some old Hydra hidey-hole. Â Youâre the smarts here, kid. Â Iâm just coming along to toss somebody through a wall if we need to.â
As much as I am the smarts, donât count yourself out. Lets hope you wonât have to toss people through walls though and that itâs abandoned but...if thereâs important things there, someone is bound to be hanging around. When are we going?
larissacohen:
âYou bet your ass you will.â
Which reminds me... Larry? You look great.
Donât you worry, Joe. If I wanted to fight youâd already be on the ground.
How so? I canât say Iâve found anything weird before.
Oh, is that so? Someone sounds awfully sure of themselves.
Really? Youâve never found weird stories or photos on there?Â
âSo what? Youâd rather let the city be completely destroyed instead of only having a few casualties and some damage to the city? Because if I remember correctly, SHIELD isnât really capable of doing much. Werenât you guys too preoccupied with being taken over by Hydra? The Avengers had to do what was necessary to save as many lives as possible, something you guys seem to conveniently forget. Iâm not saying that what he did was right, but you guys were basically asking for it with those Acts. You guys could have gone about it in a better way that only targeted actual criminals instead of including the rest of us who have done nothing wrong. And vigilantes donât kill, they just do all the work so the cops can get the credit at the end. Besides, having people register sounds a lot like Hitler with the Jews. Maybe thatâs why Magneto reacted so violently, the scene must have been all too familiar for him. But go ahead keep denying people their basic human rights.â
âOh, because hidden identities didnât destroy not one, but two cities from one group alone? I mean, at least I have evidence and proof to back me up, but what do you have?â Joe asked. âBoth instances with the Avengers and HYDRA were out of our controls and the Avengersâ, but at the end of the day, we didnât destroy a city when we recovered. Can the Avengers really say the same?â Joe nodded, fully understanding why he thought the way he did. âI get where youâre coming from there, really, I do, Iâd like to think Iâm a pretty open-minded kind of guy, but can you really look at me right now and tell me that I would be the one to do that? If you say no, and I hope you do, then know that there are plenty others like me too. Itâs just the wrong people sometimes get the power they shouldnât have, and everyone else pays the price for it. Weâre all...living beings. Humans, aliens, whatever, but weâre all prone to making mistakes. You just have to know that some mistakes cost you a lot more than others and you have to know when to pick and choose your battles. Donât go around pulling a Magneto on innocent people, you know?â Joe held his hands up in surrender at his comment on Hitler. âWoah now, donât go comparing SHIELD to Hitler now. We want to protect people too, weâre not open to the world about who we are and what we do really. In a way, you could say weâre kind of like vigilantes too, giving other people the credit when itâs necessary. We donât plan on locking you all up in camps and torturing you and killing you off. Like I said, that would be stupid, considering you all have some sort of power to make it so that we would definitely lose that fight. How is that denying them their basic human rights? Because we want them to be equal to others and some people think that theyâre better? What do you want next? To not pay taxes because you save people?â
