Had high hopes for shown radiator prototype but it leaked through tiny holes. Developed another sealing routine, improved the printing process to increase the seal and increased the flow rate of the design. . . For spray painting indoors bought this full vision scuba for 15 euros and made an adapter to fit the screw on gas / particle filter. For drilling glass and gemstones i finished this mount. It's basically a drone motor with ESC and a servo tester allows me to manually control speed. I figure a PWM signal could also work but that's not a priority . . I can swap my 3d printer head with this cutting mill. I've guinea pigged the first filter until it became saturated and it performs really well. The first outer prefilter became very dusty but the second by the naked eye seems clean, same goes for the filter after the carbon. . . I swapped out all the filters and activated carbon, tried it again but wasn't careful in packing the carbon tight. I immediately sensed something was wrong whilst using it. So I've added a bit of padding and another meshed spacer disc so it's more tightly packed. . . After these changes it worked as a new filter again. Before refilling it you can simply wash all plastic parts with cold or not too hot water or a damp cloth. . . I think I will add one more spacer ring inside the filter to add a very tight securing of the carbon compartment. Also I need to figure out a minimum and maximum fill indicator for the carbon. A bonus feature of my design is that more carbon can be loaded as there is more room. With a 19mm carbon blanket layer I estimate the filter to last 45 minutes in very extreme conditions. Ran out of filters whilst painting so I decided to roll my own. Designed a reusable filter for the GP-5 mask. Pop in new activated carbon and 3 regular filter masks and you're good to go for a fraction of the price of a regular filter. . .
