Trivia

Shishiorn was not inherently evil. However, Satan Gorth’s influence was so strong that Juspion had no choice but to destroy the beast.

A shisa is a creature from Okinawan mythology. It looks like a cross between a dog and a lion. The shisa is similar to the komainu (狛犬) and the shishi (石獅) of China. They are commonly used to ward off evil spirits as well as bring goodness.
