My first post is a bit of family appreciation post, here is my beautiful family, my one day to be wife my two beautiful boys plus my little girl who is very nearly at her arrival date. With out any of these I would probably be a very lost sole. Not a lot keeps me going these days and some days I feel what’s the point in even going on but then I look at my family and say to myself they’re my reason. They’re my everything and the only thing I need. They keep me going strong and spark the little bit of joy I have left.

2023 was a great year for me biking, i finally got round to doing a full Santa run that came with a lot of ups and downs but it was great ride and very enjoyable, managed to get out some group rides without being the one that breakdown and we also decided to set a bike group up called the Wanderers to try and help get young/new riders into the ride community and to help promote safer riding, it’s a slow start but hopefully it grows

So the Hoff is now gone and the bandit is now my latest two wheels of freedom, the Hoff was a great bike but it was time for something a little more reliable I’m yet to give it a name but for now it’s just the Bandit #suzukibandit

Here is my beautiful family, without these life just wouldn’t be the same. The love shared with these four is just unbreakable. And as you can see Paisley-rose is currently smashing life still have a massive amount to learn about Larsens syndrome but we are getting there.

This week has been a good week as the Honda cbr600f3 finally has an mot, still needs a little work to tidy up but the Hoff is almost there

So with great sadness it was time my journey came to an end with my Kawasaki er500, I had great fun learning to ride with this one but with an mot failure bigger than the bike was worth it was time to say good bye, the er500 is now living life as a quad bike haha. But out with the old and in with the older. I have since taken on my new project of restoring this 1997 honda cbr600f import this will be a slow but gradual project and hopefully will be on the road by the summer if not sooner. Watch this space

Meet my beautiful little girl Paisley-Rose.

She was born with a rare disability known as Larsons syndrome, this was a shock to us as we only had knowledge of her having club foot but when she was born she came out with double dislocated knees, talapeased feet, short long bones, restricted lung capacity, ( had to be put in an oxygen tunnel to help her breath) extended soft spot on her head (reached her nose) no bridge to her nose. And a potential spinal condition. Up until recently we had no idea what was wrong other than she had a condition the whole thing has been a whirlwind of information and at times hard to process but now we have a condition we can start to study and learn what’s going on with our a little girl. Expect to see more posts of her and her progress in life

Today is my little man’s 4th birthday, he’s had a great day however this birthday has been a guilty one, we was so wrapped up in getting his gifts we ran out of money and was unable to get him his Birthday cake, he’s not bothered and has t even noticed but the guilt is strong. Since all the increases in taxes and fuel prices money management has been extremely hard especially when your having to drop shifts to manage life.

Few little upgrades to my ride, I don’t have much in sense of money so what I do have left (after paying all the important things) I like to spend on my bike. Slowly becoming more personal to me.

#er500 #kawasaki My second post is to share my My hobby, what I like to do to escape the world, to feel a little freedom, a chance to recharge. When I was a little younger I used to do quite a lot of surfing, this was My way of re charging and gaining some sanity back there’s no way to explain the release you get from surfing other than to try it yourself, there is just no feeling like it. Now I’m a little older and have a wonderful family I get very little time to do activities like this so I gave up the board and replaced it with My motorbike, I get great enjoyment out of doing little mods/personalisations to My bike and get even more enjoyment from ridding it.
