Was Jeremiah technically single? Yes. But his heart really did belong to someone else and he was waiting for her to be ready for a real relationship. He also got conned into doing this by his friends that didn't know about Valeria so they thought they were doing him a big favor by signing him up for the speed dating event during the festival that was taking place. He was looking around as he walked in and then he took a seat where he was told to do so which caused him to smile but then he heard the remark coming from the female and couldn't help but not and let out a small chuckle, "Friends. How about you?"
Events like Speed Dating were always mysterious cause you just never know who could show up. Yes Isabella was single and she was wanting new people. But the idea of meeting them on her own terms. The blind date earlier in week was something that sounded fun and this was one of those things that randomness of people who showed up was perfect for someone whom liked to people watch like she liked to do. "Mainly it was cause my mother wants me to meet new people. But I was hoping the people watching would be worth it at the same time." She smiled sipping her drink.
Juno looked the other up and down for a moment and she gave a soft clearing of her throat "Enjoying the sea air is the answer that I'll go with..." she answered after a moment, looking back out to the sea and giving a softer sigh at the visage, the feeling that it brought up inside of her. "It's oddly calming even if it can be so volatile...."
Liberty smiled hearing her response not really sure how to read between the lines of what she said. All she could do was nod softly without saying anything to upset the woman standing across from her. She nodded, "I know what you mean. This is one of my favorite views of the city various times of the day for that reason alone."
Bradley was tired of people who were trying to get to always help set him up with someone. He wasn't upset at the idea of finding someone, but he felt like there was too much pressure for him to find someone right away and be with someone. However, he wanted the idea of a slow burn fall in love with someone love story. He wasn't the sappiest person out there but when he was with someone who he cared about a lot he showed more emotions.
He knew that they had a plan to meet up with one another so Bradley was looking around for someone with animal print on since that's what he was told that she would be wearing animal print so he happened to see someone with a dress that had animal print on it and he decided he was just going to walk up to her and he let his finger tap on her shoulder and when she turned around he threw a smile on his face. "Hi. Yes. I'm Bradley. Are you Isabella?"
Even if most of her family was in Rhode Island, they were still wanting to nudge into meeting someone. So here she was keeping a promise to her mother about going on this blind date and also try speed dating for the first time during the week of the festival. The thing about the blind date she actually had some hope it would go well. Fingers and toes crossed in her mind anyways.
It was as she was licking her lips looking up at the male she smiled softly, somewhat thankful she told him she would be wearing an animal print cause nobody tonight was doing so which in her eyes was a good thing. As she heard him say her name she smiled, "That would be me, you can call me Lucky though, how are you?"

Liberty and her two kids were on their way to the festival, making a stop at Portside Coffee on the way. The sports agent was in the need of one of the frozen coffee drinks and the kids were wanting to try the new Summer smoothies. The three of them walked in smiling and she called over to Mariyana, "Hey, Mari, what do you suggest for three heading to the festival to drink? Frozen coffee something for me and whatever these two want."

As soon as her mother heard about the festival in Turtle Bay she looked into the events. The one that caught Victoria Spadafore's attention was the speed dating cause she figured it would be a good way for her daughter to meet other singles. In no way was she wanting to go, yet she had to make her mother happy by at least giving speed dating a chance at least once. To prove she made it to the event, she took a picture of the table she was seated at to send to her mother. As she was sending the text she felt someone sitting across from her and laughed, "Let me guess you are here in suggestion from a friend or family member like I am."

"Byron, if I did not know any better you were trying to take the fun out of the games for the kids." Lucky said as she walked up to him at one of the carnival games. "The only reason I say this is because every, single, time I walk by here you are in the area playing something or scouting the games out. Seriously though how are you and why are you always hiding when I visit the restaurant?"
"Just some light reading...honestly I've been so into big chunky books, I need something light and simple, you know?" She smiled. " I just finished Alchemised and it was amazing, but it took two months. With work and sleeping schedules being all fucked up, that book was a bit too long, but amazing. What are you reading right now?"
"Oh I know what you mean, sometimes paperbacks are the best for that. I know I have read a lot like that over the years since I was in grade school." Liberty nodded. "That is also how I read books that normally would not have caught my attention. One of the main reasons I love coming to these book sales honestly." She continued nodding taking a sip of her sweet tea. "I am actually reading The Search by Nora Roberts. So far so good. She usually is a good read though."
" Why didn't you wear it? It was the right time to do so... I actually love the little spin on mine, I'm not full on Disney princess but the tartan was already something I had in the house, my Da is extremely proud right now." Meg chuckled. " They are born with all the freckles, some more than others. I get my freckles around summer time, very bold freckles, but not the Ed Sheeran look." She laughed. " Actually none... did you have a different one?"
"Seeing this is my first real Disney event here in town I had no idea how into it the town gets. I will know for next time though." Isabella smiled at her. "Yes to the freckles yet they sunburn extra quickly. Downfalls to having that great colored hair. Ed Sheeran look?" She answered no by shaking her head.

Isabella had been listening to all of the contestants so far as she noticed the choir director and smiled softly at her. "So out of all the locals here who do you think has a good enough voice to be up there tonight and why?" She finally asked the lady she had met at various events she moved into town. "I ask cause I feel you would know better than anyone here. Maybe that is just me though."
Henric smiled as he took a seat and looked at Isabell. Watching her, the chef was interested to see what she had created and he had a feeling that she might even inspire him too. Henric was someone who loved watching other chef works, tasting their food, giving feedback and getting feedback too. Despite them dating in the past, the two of them had still remained best friends and he was glad for that.
"You know me and risk, I love taking risk and plus you have improved over the years," he teased and joked with a grin on his face. "So please give me some back ground about this dish? Am interested to see what my skilled bestie is going to make."
"I am just thankful I have friends like you and Jin here in town who like being my guinea pigs. The only thing with Jin is he does not eat seafood." Isabella smirked as she looked over at the male who she would do anything to impress the model and fellow cook. Nowadays even though she was still wanting to impress him only with her cooking talents along with tease him every so often out of friendship. "Actually I am trying to improve a dish, it is roasted root vegetables and salted cod. I am going to try it on the grill outside instead of the oven. Do you want anything to drink or snack on?" She asked as she put the fish in the fridge cause she knew the vegetables would take sometime. "So how are you? What is new with my best friend?"
After medicine, romance books was all Meg could read, and even though she was currently binge reading one series, didn't mean her TBR couldn't get longer, oh no, she made sure she was reading til the day she died because that was how long her list of books was at the present moment. But deciding to see what was in store she entered the book sale, just casually looking. " The romance section, right now I'm reading about magic and dragons and long lost lovers, but I need something simpler, not the cinnamon buns one, less spice more romance." She said with a smile.
Hearing the response from the brunette, the ginger smiled, "Oh that area you want is on the table the far left. So many good book choices for romance genre mixed in with everything a person could want I feel." Liberty was someone who loved all genres, when she was not working or playing chauffer to her kids, she was enjoying one of her many favorite hobbies reading being one of her favorites. "What of the fantasy romance series have you enjoyed lately?"
"That sounds really good. I don't know if I have ever had a salmon burger. I do like salmon and burgers so I feel like it would be something that I would enjoy myself. I might have to give it a try honestly." She mentioned to Liberty as she looked at her and then smiled softly, "I'm good. I've just been trying to keep myself busy but also enjoying being retired as well. How have you been?"
"It is one of my favorites here at the country club. So many wonderful dishes here though. I get this when I am not sure what I want to eat. I hope you enjoy it, if you do try it." She smiled softly at the older woman she had met when she first started to hang at the country club once she and the kids moved to Turtle Bay. "How has retirement been treating you? I am wonderful and excited for Summer here in town. Are you doing anything special this year for the warmer months?"
Deciding that she was for sure coming as Merida, she donned her colours and walked to where the festival was happening. The town was pretty lively for the day and there was so much people around, she was praying no one would get hurt so she wouldn't be called in today. " I was so excited for today, I was even talking to a friend, like I don't have the good ginger genes, my parents are one hundred percent Scottish as am I but apparently we left the ginger gene pass us, but I was definitely coming as Merida, representing my hometown."
Isabella loves to dress up for cosplay and other things. If you were allowed to dress up as the actual characters at the Disney parks she would in a heartbeat. But she knew after convincing Sebastian to dress as Flynn Rider, if he actually did, she would have felt awful if he was the only one dressed up in a themed Disney outfit. "Well you look amazing, I absolutely love your costume and I am sad I did not end up wearing the one I have at home. Maybe next time I will have nerve to really do it." Hearing how she missed the ginger gene she smirked, "Are you sure that is a bad thing? I hear they only freckle from the sun, nothing more. I am not sure if that is true or not though. Like I said you look amazing. What other costume options did you have?"
