BIO: (tw - cancer mention, death)
One of two daughters born as a result of an affair between Mary Winston and John Millington. Baby B as she had been tagged, was born 5 minutes after her sister. Their mother not being able to provide financially for two, put baby B up for adoption. Cassandra was raised by Scott and Jessica Albright, (yes those Albrights. Of Albright Media. Scott was the production mind behind several well-known movies, and Jessica was the editor-in-chief of the second-best-known fashion magazine in Northern California.)
Cassie attended the best schools, graduating at the top of her class in high school as well as Berkeley's undergraduate business class. She deviated from her parents' plans for her. They wanted to pass the family company to her, to live on the family estate. Instead Cassie moved to the UK and lived like a socialite. Right around her 30th birthday, a cancer diagnosis took her home. She spent the next five years helping an ailing Jessica run her magazine, eventually being handed her mother's title after her death.
Beginning to wonder about her biological family, Cassie sent away for one of those Ancestry DNA kits and was shocked to find out that she had a half-sister living in a small town in South Carolina. At 44 Cassie retired as editor-in-cheif and started the deep dive into her family, which brought her to Turtle Bay in June 2025.
Cassie had propped the door open; the place needed circulating air while the floors, walls, and ceiling were cleaned. She smiled when she saw Savannah round the corner. "Hi!" Cassie smiled, "do you want to see the inside with your own eyes or does the listing work better?"
School hadn't even started and Cassie was planning for her next business adventure.

Church of God parking lot
Cassie leaned back against the grill of her SUV, her neck cricked back as she stared up towards the tallest point of the building. She wanted to be able to go inside and take Patrick lunch, instead of him coming to meet her outside. Blowing out a raspberry, "does smiting have a statute of limitations?" The brunette asked out loud.
"First time here?" Daisy asked, though she already has a feeling it is. She then gestured towards a free table, guiding the other woman the rest of the way without crowding her. As they reached the table, Daisy paused, studying her just briefly again—taking in the resemblance with Vicki, but also the differences, the way it doesn’t quite land the same no matter how similar it looks. "Take your time," Daisy said while offering her a menu, her voice softening just slightly. "Nothing here needs to be rushed." A small pause, then her head tilts just a fraction, more observant now. "Did you come for a quick lunch or are you interested in the whole wine-tasting service we offer?"
Cassie slid into the booth, "It is." She ran a hand through her hair and chuckled. "Is it obvious?" Nodding slightly as Daisy spoke, she glanced at the menu. "That is good to know. If you're going to have the full experience, it should be enjoyed. Are there food pairings or should I get something quick before I start drinking? -- I'm Cassie by the way, figured I'd get that out of the way first."

The phone call had ended so abruptly that Adam thought he'd hung up by mistake. He tore his phone away from his ear, stared incredulously down at the flashing 'call ended' on screen, and thought expressly, about throwing his cell into the ocean, if only it mean he'd never have to hear from that pompous piece of shit media executive ever gain.
"Fuckin' asshole-" he mumbled into the lip of his take away coffee cup, fiddling absently with the cigarette tucked behind his left ear.
It was only then he realised he had come to a stock still stop in front of a church. Scowling, Adam pursed his lips and stared up at the sun blotting cross on top of the spire, adjusting his sunnies as to not blind himself. Technically he was Catholic, though very severely lapsed.
"-think if I ask God super nicely he's smote someone for me?" Adam glanced at the random person beside him "-they're a multi-millionaire so like, it's not like they're a real person anyway."
Cassie pulled into the church parking lot, sending Patrick a text to let him know she had arrived with lunch. She cut the engine and leaned over the steering wheel, looking at the building through dark shades. The stagnant air quickly becoming too warm. Cassie hopped out of her car, pulling the to-go bag across the seat and up onto the hood. She stopped just before sidewalk turned to grass, chuckling at the question. "I dunno. He was the first one to say the phrase 'love thy neighbor,' and the rich asshole is a human being. - you'll have to let me know the outcome."
"I have a few kids so they range in ages. They're between like their mid 20's to early 30's. I would love to tell you the exact ages but I try not to remember those things." She mentioned to Cassie as she laughed a bit. "When you have three kids it's easier to remember them in an age range." Danielle explained. "I don't think that's a bad idea. I know a lot of people like to cut their hair off for the summer so we can certainly do that next time."
"Ah, okay." The brunette nodded before picking up her own HydroJug and taking a big gulp. "I'm a twin, so there was only one birthday to remember." Cassie shrugged and didn't elaborate. "What's it like being an empty nester?"
Looking over at her when she pulled away, Patrick couldn't help but chuckle a little bit. "I know there is a lot that we have to learn about each other, love. But I'm more than willing to learn everything along the way. As long as you are. And that isn't always necessary." He winked over at her for a moment. "Yeah? I was hoping you would say that." Patrick stated, leaning in to kiss her gently.
Cassie cocked her head and smirked. "Noted," she clicked her tongue as she moved to meet Patrick halfway for another kiss. "Patrick Murphy will probably be my favorite elective. - I have one question." The brunette laughed, "is there going to be homework?"
Honestly there were nights like this that Victoria enjoyed hearing the waves more than the chatter. Yeah, she rambled at times and that was something that she was working. Shaking her head a little bit. "Orion can be a bit yeah, I want to say challenging but I'm not sure if that word is correct to describe him." It was true, there were a lot of words to describe the man she had once loved. Looking over at her, she sat down now across from her. "Did you ever want kids? Or do you ever think about having kids? Sorry if that is too personal."
Setting her fork down, Cassie nodded slowly. "Well," she smiled with a shrug. "A lot of siblings figure that out before 46. - I would have loved to have kids. My 20s were spent in the UK, wasn't ready to be a grown-up. Then my Mom got sick. I went home and got a crash course in the family business, filled her very big shoes. It wouldn't have been fair to a kid ya know? And now, raising a child is something I don't think I could do by myself. I've always kind of wanted what my parents had."

Location: Country Club
Debbie had just gotten done with her swimming class at the local Country Club and so she had showered to make sure that she didn't smell like chlorine. She had put her bag in the backseat of her car after she showered and then headed back to the country club. She wanted to get some golfing done but before she was going to head out to the green, she had stopped at the bar to make sure she had something to drink. As she ordered herself a beer, she looked over and saw another individual. "What is that you ordered? It looks good."
Cassie sat with her arms resting on the bar, looking back and forth between the two closest TVs. Golf and horse racing. The brunette turned slightly and smiled at the other woman. "I think the bartender called it a Bandit. Raspberry Vodka, Chateau Monet, sour mix, and Sprite."
Nodding his head a little bit. "Yes, I could." He told her honestly. Patrick kissed her back gently. This was something that Patrick had thought about. Kissing her and being with her. "So does that mean you'll be my girlfriend, love?" He questioned, mumbling against her lips.
A soft gasp nearly got caught in Cassie's throat, and a coughing fit. She quickly cleared it. "Your girlfriend? Umm," Cassie pulled away enough to look at Patrick's whole face. "There's still so much we don't know about each other. And correct me if I am wrong, I've never been involved with a divorced pastor before. But our pants have to stay on for us to do that?" Her serious face cracked, a toothy grin appearing. "Yeah." Cassie giggled, and she nodded her head. "I'll be your girlfriend."
Andrea smiled softly, listening, her expression warm and open as she set her mug down.“I think it’s a little bit of both.” she said gently. “Small town folks know faces and names, and you are identical to Victoria. We have a few sets of twins in town, you’re not the first, but it’ll take a minute for everyone to adjust to their being two of you.” A quiet laugh slipped out. “Give it time. Once they get to know you, that’ll shift. You’re… you. Not her. And that’s going to stand out on its own.”
She reached for a cookie, absently breaking off a piece. “For what it’s worth, I think it’s kind of sweet the way people in this town stop to talk to strangers on the street.. Annoying sometimes, I’m sure, but… sweet.” At the question, she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. “I’ve been here most of my life. I was born here. Tried leaving for a bit when I was younger, but…” she shrugged lightly, smiling. “This place has a way of calling you back.” Her expression softened. “As you know, I’ve got four kids, so life’s a little chaotic, a little loud, I’m always running from place to place and always tried, but it’s the good kind of tired. I’m the chief editor for the local paper, so I get to be in the middle of everything happening around here.” A small, fond smile. “And I’ve been with my husband since we were sixteen, which still feels a little insane when I say it out loud. I like to read books, I like to craft and so, obviously I like to bake and canned things. I’m really an old lady at heart. My husband owns a bookshop.”
She glanced back at her, a bit brighter now. “We should do something soon though. Like a beach day or something now that the weather’s getting nicer. Something easy and fun, for some real sisterly bonding. I know you said you’re grew up in California, do you like the beach? And three siblings, wow. I’m sorry to hear your mom went through that, but I’m glad that you all ended up with some great parents. Sometimes children grow in your heart, not in your belly.”
Cassie pursed her lips, wondering if she could ever fall out of the safety rules/habits she had growing up. Turtle Bay had already changed her more and faster than she had expected, so anything was possible really! "High school sweethearts," Cassie laughed. "That tracks." She took another bite of cookie and smiled. "Do you quilt? I also own my mom's very fancy sewing machine. She taught me on a standard one. Oh, I love the beach!" She nodded, smiling big. "It's what drew me to this place. - I will have to pick-up a copy tomorrow, small town news must be funny."
It was pretty dead tonight, she had already sent most of her staff home. Which was why Victoria was out on the floor. "Cas? Can I ask something personal? I know we haven't really talked that much and maybe that is on me but in my defense you totally came into my life during a weird point because my ex husband came back around the same time." The blonde stated. Was she rambling? Maybe a little bit. But it was a flaw of hers to do so. "So can I ask you something personal? I mean it's like really personal."
Cassie sat in a booth, the lack of chatter inside made the waves outside more enjoyable. Her fork was halfway to her mouth when Victoria came over, and she was ready to cover her mouth and answer. But Victoria kept talking. The brunette took her time chewing, smiling as she waited patiently. "I think I saw him once. And honestly? I didn't want to be all up in your business but," she laughed. "I feel like this personal question might break that ice. What's the question?"

WHO: daisy & cassie
WHERE: wine & dine
The room was just beginning to fill when Daisy noticed her. She’s mid-step, weaving between tables, attention split between a half-finished pour at the bar and a server trying to catch her eye across the room—and then she saw her. Dark hair. Similar height. The kind of presence that didn’t ask for attention but still held it.
Daisy exhaled quietly through her nose, grounding herself as she stepped forward again, closing the distance before she could overthink it. "Sorry," she said as they nearly cross paths, her hand lifting slightly in reflex, almost brushing the other woman’s arm. Then paused. Just a beat longer than necessary. "Thought you were someone else for a second," she admitted, easy but honest.
Wine & Dine had been on Cassie's must see list for about as long as the list itself existed. Both her parents were wine lovers, though Jessica had to stop drinking after she had gotten sick. So Cassie's love for the drink had started before she was 21. It had started with the social aspect, the scents. It was one of the ways she felt close to family.
Her eyes scanned the room, smiling as a waiter walked past. A hostess quickly moved to seat her. Cassie followed at a slow pace, taking everything in. "Oh shi-" the brunette lifted her hands, eyes widening. "I'm sorry, I was distracted." A nod and half smile, "I've been getting that a lot."
"That's really nice, actually. I know that I used to give out things like that but that kind of fell off when I had my kids but it's something that I should really start up again. It's a kind thing to do to give people things like that, just little I was thinking about you gifts." Danielle nodded. "No, no. Nothing brewing up here really. If you would like just the color touch up then that sounds great to me. I don't mind that whatsoever."
Cassie's eyebrows furrowed. She hadn't known about the kids. Granted this was only the third time she had come in, but if Danielle was going to be her hair person like she hoped, the two women were going to have to chit-chat. "How old are your kids?" Cassie ran a hand through her hair, pulling up the length a bit. "I've kind of been thinking about cutting it for summer. So not now, but in a few weeks?"

Patrick couldn't help but smile against her lips now especially when she deepened she deepened the kiss. His hands at her waist now, while his own tongue explored her mouth. "Mhmm..glad that I did." He muttered against her lips. Only pulling away to breathe slightly. "I could get used to this. Kissing you."
She inhaled sharply, a chuckle rolling out with the exhale. "You could huh?" Cassie smirked and kissed Patrick again, pulling back before latching onto his jaw and neck. Anything to keep her mouth busy and unable to ask stupid questions or overshare. "Definitely could."
